Large rooms, great staff (Jackie, Kenneth, Fransista), great food, peaceful

This is a lovely, out of the way, seaside retreat, surrounded by tropical gardens. The best rooms are in the front with large terraces and a view of the water. The a**osphere is old world, charming and quiet. The restaurant is excellent, as is the service. The only drawback is that the small beach in front of the hotel is not usable now, but an 8 minute walk along the water takes you to the most beautiful beach on the island.

Even though we live full time on Anguilla, we staycation here several times a year, since our first visit in 2010. This piece of paradise was the exact spot where we decided to move upon retirement! The gardens are beautiful, the restaurant food is always delicious and Jackie and the staff are the most professional to be found anywhere. Mr. Kenneth Rogers is a friendly and accommodating host. If you want a real taste of the island and the old Caribbean feel this is the place. The beach front here is some of the most photographed in the region. Stunningly beautiful. The best kept secret on Anguilla.

Lovely beach but narrow- need to walk to other beaches to swim Rooms too dark - not much outside space to sit
