I was less than pleased. I called to book specifically to enjoy the hot tub and swimming on a random night. Was told hot tub and pool were working. The hot tub had been out of order a while. Pool was ok. They also charged me $2 for a key I left on the tv stand by the remote. When I checked out online.

Everyone we encountered at the front desk was amazing! Room and the hotel were clean!

When we arrived there was no one at the desk and no sign. We waited several minutes before I finally looked and found the person sitting in the back on their phone. The hotel and room were clean which was great! The shower soap dispensers did not work tho and the breakfast food was cold. We’ve stayed at this hotel many times and I feel it is slowly going downhill, which is unfortunate. It’s all in the details.

Check in was super easy and all of the staff were kind and vert friendly. My sisters and I had a great stay in this hotel

Excellent front staff, breakfast staff, and housekeeping staff -- very helpful and kind. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Great pool and fitness area. Great restaurant on site (selection/price).

Felt very safe and so convenient having the Green Mill bar there to enjoy drinks and food before going back to our room

The hotel staff was nice. The pool area was not very clean. The hotel beds were clean but out bathroom was not very clean. WE stayed there because it was the only thing available.

Older hotel than next door, but much better breakfast and love having a restaurant in the building. I have stayed at both. I always choose this best western.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are very good size. The restaurant next store is great.

We picked this for proximity to freeway traveling north to Duluth. That’s good for that. Seems like a safe property with good parking. It’s currently undergoing a renovation with lots of plastic hanging, so you definitely should not pick this if you’re looking for a destination property for a wedding or such. It was OK for an overnight stay. I hope they get things cleaned up quickly or cannot recommend. Breakfast is fair. Gym is very rundown and needs equipment updates and repairs.

The shower had no tread or mat in the bottom of the shower. I fell getting out of the tub. No major injury but very upsetting. Thought about complaining at the front desk, but didn’t think they’d care.

The hotel is in the process of being remodeled so it was little tricky to get around and there were more than usual dirty carpets and flooring. The hotel employees were very friendly and busy at work.

No daily cleaning service. Toilet leaked and they left the dirty wet towels.

Although it was under renovation it was a good place to stay for the night. Restaurant on site was OK but nothing outstanding. Prices were acceptable.
