斯圖加特辛德芬根萬豪酒店(Stuttgart Marriott Hotel Sindelfingen)

I was of the view that this property (part of Marriott) is a 5 star hotel and can expect good service for foreign nationals. But to my disappointment it was one of my worst experience that I could ever expect. I am sure the management is least bothered since they are getting their money paid and not concerned about CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. I stayed here for a week. 1) Being a pure vegetarian I did not find any options in the breakfast menu or in the hotel menu. Breakfast was included as part of my rates. Given with no much choice I requested for some steamed vegetables in the breakfast menu. But they kept only mushrooms and few pieces of potatoes in that. After giving feedback to the staff I was hoping to get some choice of food but nothing worked. 2) When I requested for jus plates and spoons - the staff said they cannot service to rooms and that I need to come and pick myself. What service is this called by MARRIOTT if customer has to come and take it by himself. Are you running a Service apartment in the name of hotel ?? 3) The plates served were not even well cleaned ( had bad foul smell) thank you marriott for this pathetic service. I had similar challenges when I traveled to Japan & Mexico and Hilton properties were well accommodative and they take care of customers so well understanding their situation and expectation. Why is this not there with Marriott management. Will it really cost you so much of you give good washed dishes, serve some vagatables in the menu, or are you least bothered that it will hit your pocket so badly... One of my worst hospitality service that I could think off...

Extremely disappointed with the service at this hotel. I had to work overnights while staying at this hotel and the staff required me to let the cleaning staff come in to clean my room, and could not accommodate around my sleep schedule. After working a 13 hour shift overnight, the last thing I want is to wait another 2 hours after I get back for housekeeping to clean a room that I barely soiled and didn't want nor need cleaned. Additionally, I reserved at the lodging and breakfast rate, but had to fill out additional paperwork intermittently when the staff checked if I could access breakfast in the mornings. This made no sense as this would happen for several days, then my room would appear on the list as being covered for lodging and breakfast, but then the next day I would fall off the list again. I brought this up with the staff member checking the breakfast list as well as the front desk with no resolution and apparently no interest in resolving this.

So many great things to note about this hotel. Outstanding location for our family during transition to another country. One of the best Marriott's from my experience. Outstanding breakfast. Service all round was superb. Parking was tight but worked. My family would quickly return if given the opportunity.

The hotel is comfortable, rooms are spacious and comfortable, the staff are attentive and the breakfast buffet is amazing. We stayed here on a weekend visit with kids. Beds are comfortable, rooms are big and amenities are nice. The Executive Lounge has a terrific evening snack spread. Parking is tight, but manageable. The staff are amazing. Very friendly, helpful and polite.

Lage: Das Marriott Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig zu allen wesentlichen Verkehrswegen im Süden Stuttgarts. Die Innenstadt von Sindelfingen ist vom Hotel zu Fuß erreichbar. Hotel: Das Hotel wirkt von außen wenig ansprechend, ist aber gut renoviert und auf dem Stand der Technik. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und freundlich und löst kleinere Probleme in moderater Zeit. Der Wellnessbereich ist wenig ansprechend und dient wohl überwiegend der sportlichen Betätigung und weniger der Entspannung. Der kühl temperierte Pool hätte die optimale Temperatur zum schwimmen, die 1,3 m Wassertiefe sprechen hier aber entgegen. Der Whirlpool Bereich ist außer Betrieb, was bei der geringen Wassertemperatur aber kaum eine Rolle spielt. Die Tiefgarage ist großzügig gestaltet und hell. Das Frühstück entspricht dem gewohnten Marriott Standard, der Frühstücksbereich wirkt dagegen eher improvisiert, tief hängende Beleuchtung in den Laufwegen stört. Ausstattung: Die renovierten Gästezimmer sind groß und geräumig und bieten den gewohnten Marriott Standard. Im kleinen Badezimmer fehlt es überwiegend an Handtuchhaltern oder Wandhaken, es wirkt beengend und eher praktisch. Die großen Fenster bringen viel Licht ins Zimmer, der Blick aus dem Fenster zeigt Straßen, Industrie oder Brachland. Eingangshalle, Bar oder Restaurantbereich sind ansprechend gestaltet und laden zum Verweilen ein. Gesamturteil: Unterhalb des gewohnten Standards, die Temperatur des Pools und der Sauna sind eine Katastrophe, Man sollte auch keine Bilder an die Wand hängen, die Eindrücke aus den Zeiten zeigen, als der Whirlpool Bereich noch in Betrieb war, dies wirkt für den Gast enttäuschen. Die Preispolitik ist für mich nicht durchschaubar. Obwohl ich ein Gesamtangebot mit Parken und Frühstück genutzt hatte, finde ich doch Posten aus dem Frühstücksrestaurant, eine Businesspauschale und ein Telefongespräch (das ich nie geführt hatte) auf meiner Rechnung. 221,70 € anstatt 214 €. Insgesamt ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht gerechtfertigt.

This property likely attracts people due to it proximity to Mercedes offices and nearby military bases. However, regardless of how you end up here, you will be pleased with the service. It far exceeds expectations for a Marriott. The property has a sun-filled lobby that is lively in the mornings and evenings. The food options are good. Room service is prompt and of high quality. The rooms are standard Marriott type rooms. The bathrooms are the normal size, typically with walk-in showers. There is a modest gym in the basement to keep up with a typical workout. There is also a nice sauna and a pool. There are more expensive hotels you can choose in the City Center but the service and amenities here are just a good. If you need to be close to the bases, the airport, or Mercedes, this is a better, more affordable choice. One thing to note is that the building is on a central steam / chilled water heating / cooling system. During the winter, if you run hot, you can only get the room so cold. You'll need to open a window to get it colder (which you can crack the window.) This is not unique to this property - it's typical in most hotels here. No matter where you stay, you might want to check.

Rien de plus a ajouter que des éloges au sujet de cet hôtel situé dans la proche périphérie de la vide Stuttgart , la réputation des hôtels MARRIOTT n’est plus a faire. C’est un hôtel que je conseille vivement, une belle expérience a vivre Bon séjour à vous.

Excellent hotel with a great staff and superior food! The hotel could excel further with a few easy improvements. There are no drawers, only a couple shelves to place clothes (see pic), and this was the issue we had when we were here with full family 5+ yrs ago. Toilet paper and towels are low quality, which is odd for a top line hotel. Also parking is 25 euros per day, which is absurd, as street parking is 3 min walk away. Great breakfast though!

NIce hotel. I wish the lounge was open rather than using the main lobby. Hope COVID goes away soon. Great breakfast system for COVID.
