L hôtel est idéalement situé pour visiter Syracuse au cœur d un quartier animé. La chambre est spacieuse et propre. Le lit est très confortable. Le petit déjeuner est très bon. Le personnel est très gentil, accueillant et serviable. Je recommande. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

I rate this hotel 4.5 stars if I am comparing it with the previous stay in Taormina, Hotel Casa Adele. This hotel is good but not better. We were in a deluxe double with view and large balcony--room 401. The location is ideal -- in the middle of the island Ortigia with so many shops and restos. There's a gelateria next door. A few steps away is the fabulous Fountain of Diana in a spacious piazza. On the balcony, I was chilling with my pistachio brittle accompanied by the complimentary prosecco I took from Spoleto. I was in a contemplative mood. The included breakfast is excellent. I ordered two fried eggs with bacon. The cantaloupe is particularly sweet. A special shoutout to Noemi who made sure we received our takeaway breakfasts since we checked out early at 4:30 AM. FYI: Zara is just 5 minutes away. This place is highly recommended.

Situation idéale sur l’île pour cet hôtel dans un bâtiment typique. Nous avons été conseillé avant notre arrivée pour gérer l’arrivée et le parking. Nous avons eu le plaisir d’avoir une chambre équipée au dessus de nos espérances avec un billard , un sauna et une baignoire hydromassante. Si on rajoute une petite terrasse verdoyante et un excellent petit déjeuner, on peut dire que notre séjour a été parfait

Séjour touristique. Emplacement parfait. Hôtel et chambre décorés avec goût. Belle hauteur sous plafond, chambre spacieuse et literie très confortable. Équipe très sympathique.

We stayed here for 5 nights and loved our stay. The hotel is conveniently located just off the Piazza Archimede. If you are getting a taxi from the train station or airport, I would recommend asking to be dropped off there. The hotel is in a very central location with restaurants and places to get snacks nearby. We had a corner room on the first floor which had balconies and a separate lounge/dining room. The room was decorated beautifully, the bathroom was clean and had excellent water pressure and the bed was super comfy. There was a wide range of food to choose from at breakfast - pastries, cakes, fruit, yoghurt, bacon and eggs and meat and cheeses and the staff who helped at breakfast times were super helpful and lovely. The reception desk is not manned 24 hours, but if you contact the staff outside the manned hours, they really go above and beyond to help with issues and queries that you may have. Our flight was scheduled to arrive quite late, and then was delayed so our arrival was much later than planned. Since there would not be anyone there so late at night, they gave us very clear arrangements on how to access the building and had our room ready and waiting for us which was fantastic at the end of a very long and stressful day. We would definitely stay here again when we visited Ortigia.

È veramente molto bello. Camere molto confortevoli, la nostra vista mare era stupenda, luminosa, e molto curata. Un letto comodissimo, un bagno grande, tutto molto pulito. Una location nel pieno centro di Ortigia, a due minuti dalla piazza del Duomo e a cinque minuti dal mare. Una colazione molto curata e raffinata. Consiglio vivamente a chi vuole vivere Ortigia città meravigliosa. Grazie a Palazzo Gilistro per l’ospitalità.

While a little hard to find, and also difficult to park in Ortigia, Palazzo Gillistro was a charming home for our two days in the area. Because it is in an older building, outlets for charging phone, etc. were not by the bedside, but the bathroom was well stocked and had plenty of hot water, water pressure, etc. The windows and shutters shut out the street noise to some extent, but we were on a lower floor, so not perfect. The property has a lovely roof top covered patio with tables and chairs and a lovely view of the roof tops of Ortigia and a glimpse of the sea. The breakfasts, however, were great. So many choices and selections, from yogurt and fresh fruit to croissants and savory choices, eggs, bacon, and an amazing selection of local jams and honeys. Plus, cappuccino made on demand. Re parking: recommend that you get the Easy Park app that works for the lots in the area. Don't try to park near the marina! And, apparently, you can park in yellow curb areas to drop off your luggage a block or two from the property.

Our stay was mixed at this almost too centrally located B&B that felt more like an Airbnb at times given the lack of onsite support. In fact the ambivalent and difficult to communicate front desk staff, both sets of folks we interacted with, were not very welcoming and had a difficult time communicating with us in either English or Italian. Plus the B&B is located at the intersection of the most well lit and trafficked street corner of this enchanting old island. Which in our mid took away from the charm. Apart from that, we did enjoy the breakfast and the two ladies managing it are amazing and so friendly. As is the cleaning staff. Also appreciated the pillow options and the superior room we paid extra for had a wonderful little terrace and view. Given the not so warm welcome and the bustle of the location we wouldn’t stay here again.

Excellent location, beautiful building. Fantastic room, great shower, great wi-fi, complimentary bottles of water and a kettle with a selection of tea bags in the room. Breakfast was amazing, a huge selection of food. Staff were all lovely and we had an amazing night's sleep, bed was so comfortable. Fabulous stay, loved it!!

Maravilloso hotel ubicado en el corazón de las isla. La habitación excelente muy linda y cómoda igual que los baños impecables. El Desayuno muy rico. Como está en la isla no se puede estacionar pero del hotel te recomiendan parking cercanos donde dejar el auto por un precio de 15 a 18 euros 24 horas. Maravilloso lo recomiendo 100%

B&B centralissimo, vicino al Duomo! Struttura molto bella e curata nei dettagli. Personale gentilissimo e molto disponibile. Pulizia e colazione ottime! Efficiente anche il servizio parcheggio a pagamento che la struttura ci ha consigliato (un autista ritira e consegna la vettura) CONSIGLIATISSIMO!!! (Soggiorno settembre 2022 BELLEZZE IN VIAGGIO)

Posizione - meglio non c'è! Centrale, tutto a portata di mano. Pulito, personale ottimo. La colazione abbondante. Meglio di così non potevamo trovare. Perfetto su ogni aspetto. Nei paraggi caffè, bar, ristoranti e trattorie. Tutti i punti di maggior interesse raggiungibile facilmente a piedi

Comodo B&B situato a 20 metri dalla Fontana di Diana, Piazza Archimede. Camera molto spaziosa, ma bagno piccolissimo. Letti molto molto comodi, colazione standard con caffè/bevanda + cornetto o rustico presso il Caffè Archimede.

Palazzo nel cuore di Ortigia. Stanza comoda, pulita e ben arredata, con un bagno enorme. Essendo nel centro dell'isola vi è parecchio movimento ma l'insonorizzazione è sufficiente per riposare bene. Colazione buona. Nel complesso, un piacevole soggiorno.
