Crowne Plaza 索非亞(Crowne Plaza Sofia)

L'hotel è situato in una zona commerciale nella periferia di Sofia, perciò è raccomandato l'utilizzo del taxi o di un'auto per spostarsi, anche solo per cenare, poiché nei dintorni non ci sono ristoranti (a parte quello dell'hotel). Il personale della reception è molto cordiale ed efficiente, la hall è spaziosa e offre anche una zona bar e un angolo relax. Le camere sono molto grandi, il materasso è comodo ma personalmente non ho gradito il piumone. Nel bagno erano presenti sia la vasca che la doccia. Unica nota negativa: l'asciugacapelli in dotazione è piccolo e poco potente. La piscina (al chiuso) è abbastanza grande, e in questo periodo gli ingressi sono contingentati (bisogna prenotare), ma essendo aperta dalle 6.30 alle 24 non è un problema. Gli spogliatoi sono molto comodi e forniti di docce e asciugacapelli. La colazione a buffet, internazionale, offre diverse varietà di cibo, sia dolce che salato, e anche prodotti biologici e a km 0. Consigliatiassimo per viaggi di lavoro.

Holiday Inn Sofia is located in the business district of Sofia, about 15-minute drive from the airport, SOF. There is free parking outside the hotel for the guests and the Metro station is only a few minutes walk away. There are plenty of shopping and restaurants a few minutes walk or drive away, including a cinema next door. The hotel has a nice lobby with a brasserie and a bar. There is also a big indoor pool and big well equipped gym on the ground floor. The rooms are modern and big, so the hotel is a great base for exploring Sofia and the surrounding areas.

Used this hotel for a conference which they were very helpful in all areas I would recommend it for events. Did not stay here, but the food was good and the reception staff helpful in various ways. Have used this hotel before for events and they have kept up their standards.

Over all the stay was good. But the details wasn't at five star level. We had roomservice and there was no cutlery. In the spa we did receive ropes after asking (even though we stayed in a suite). We asked the front desk to call a taxi, but he replied after a phone call that the taxi company didn't answer but recommended us to take the subway because it't cheaper. How ever very friendly staff in the restaurant, especially at breakfast service. And very good spa therapists.
