西爾萬度假村(Sylvan Resort)

We found this resort and it’s pet friendly as well. It’s really on the outskirts of Solan. We spent 3 nights there . The hotel staff were extremely nice and accommodating . The view from the hotel is beautiful if you get well located room. The food was good the 1st 2 nights, but the 3 rd night they really compromised on the quality which was a bit of a downer. I am a little particular about clean bathrooms. The bathrooms were c clean , but I would suggest floor towels so that it’s not wet or a sliding glass partition so that the water does not splatter after a bath. Also when it rains or is windy, the rooms are not soundproof. You can hear everything clearly which is a disturbance . All in all the stay was a nice break, but these are things which could be taken care of

Positive: The only good thing about this resort is the view. Once you enter the resort you will be able to see the mountains which will make you forget about your tiring journey. Food was ok and the service was fine. Negative: The road to the resort is really bad for about 800m. We stayed for a night and we have to request for hot water as the geyser was not switched on. We payed Rs 5500 + food (total Rs 8500) and the basic facilities were not in place. When it started to rain at night our room got filled with water. In the morning we have to be careful so that we don't slip and fall. My recommendation: If you are visiting with kids I request you to reconsider your decision. For single boys/girls or for a group of friends the place is ok.

Worst hotel, I have ever seen in Himachal. We were forced to stay here for one night, as booking were made for two nights through online, as there was no chance to go anywhere from that horrifying Jungle. Unhygienic washrooms, stinking rooms, not recommended to stay there.

First of all,don't go on review,everything is fake. ***agement is worst,rooms are stinking and makes too much noise during rain. Online shows a room charges of Rs.2000, but as we reached there ask 4000 for a room.After reaching there, you don't have options to go anywhere else,as location is too far from market and approach is very difficult and way is scary.

Amazing hospitality, comfortable stay. Saif did a very good job in arranging everything we asked for so special mentions for his hard work. Isolated place away from hustles of everyday life. Do visit place.breath taking views .

Please don't get fooled by the valley view, only that is the strength of the resort., otherwise every thing is pathetic & horrible. Staff moves without uniform & in bathroom sleeper. Unfortunately I arranged a corporate group of 50 persons in this type of resort, out of which reached 32 only, as approach is difficult & time consuming. Also a single road where driving is very difficult. They charged me 12,000 rupees per room, for this conference group, there is only one restaurant where we have b/f lunch, dinner & conference also. They don't have round table for conference, no stage, everything we have to arrange from outsources. Arrangement from outsources is also very difficult, as this resort is very far from market. Third part is of travel agent commission, a person is Hi***shu (who says MD of resort to himself) not picking up the call after calling numerous times for TAC. Don't fall into his trap.

Excellent thought after concept property right in the place which is a true reflection of heaven on earth. A must try for people who would wish to leave behind the clutter of a noisy city behind themselves and relax with luxury being served at an affordable rates. Amazing getaway place for relaxation. Great hospitality nd customer service. Owners are very friendly and personally take care of everything. Highly recommend this place.

We spend our weekend in this resort and let me tell you it was worth spending time. Staff is very nice and humble with all guests, rooms were very good and food was very tasty. Mountains view from resort was awesome.
