索爾沃恩別墅酒店(Villa Solvorn)

Ett perfekt boende i en lugn by. Fina promanader. Mycket fin vård. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka

Villa Solvorn er et veldig flott sted. Rent og pent. Delt bad, men det gikk helt fint - der var 2 å velge imellom. Stort pluss for muligheter til å grille/nyte medbragt. Frokosten var grei med det vi ellers spiser. Vi fikk plukke med oss noen epler som ble til eplekake da vi kom hjem. Man bor tett på de andre, men vi opplevde dette ikke sjenerende på noen måte. Ingen støy - selv om det nok egentlig er lettere lytt i en villa. Ellers er Solvorn et av de flotteste stedene Sognefjorden har å by på - rik på historie, kultur og sjel.

Dette var en vakker opplevelse. Gjestfrie verter, som vi setter stor pris på. Nydelige nisjer ute, med lyden av sildrende vann, fuglekvitter og en vidunderlig hage. Rene spa-opplevelsen. Selve Solvorn er som en liten Sørlandsby. Vakker og frodig. Hit kommer vi nok tilbake. Sterkt anbefalt. tusen takk for oss. Reidun og Gudmund.

Eit opphald i særskilde omgjevnader. Villa Solvorn hadde ein god a**osfære, men vi hadde venta ein annan standard med tanke på prisen.

The setting was charming and conveniently located in the middle of town.

This old wooden house is well worth a visit. Tastefully refurbished, quiet surroundings, great host with a very personal touch and a really good breakfast. The only thing "missing" is your own bathroom, as the guests share the 2 bathrooms available. Only 5 or 6 rooms, 3 different outside seating areas.

I spent 3 nights here in a double. Booking process was easy. The village of solvorn is very small so not hard to find the hotel, though the road in is steep, narrow, and twisty. Also note the BnB doesn't have dedicated parking so during the day when the day trippers are in the village, it can be challenging. Overnight, there's no issue at all. The BnB is a converted house, very tastefully decorated. Lovely garden. It isn't waterfront and thus doesn't have a spectacular fjord view, however it's located maybe 100 ft back from the water. Wifi was excellent. Breakfast was excellent. The host will cook your eggs to order. Room was small. A few caveats, though. We had a shared bathroom, which I knew ahead of time but it was still a downer. It was spotlessly clean and large. They ask you to remove your shoes and leave them on a rack on the porch outside, which I thought was odd. Also checking in was a little problematic because the host wasn't there when I arrived and I didn't have a working cell phone in norway so I stood there for 20mins waiting for someone to show up. Solvorn is very small ... there are no grocery stores and only a couple restaurant choices (which were excellent but pricey) and the nearest town is 25mins away. Also if you're doing activities in the Flam area, it's a 90min drive each way. The driving in the fjords is unbelievably scenic so I didn't mind at all. I'd definitely stay again.

This B&B is small and charming with a beautiful garden. The host was exceptionally pleasant and accommodating. Solvorn itself is a nice place to spend the day but it is tiny with limited dining options, best served as a jumping-off place for nearby areas. Limitation is the shared bathroom.
