巴特勒酒店(Butler Inn)

Great place

Oxford, Ohio has limited hotel options. In a pinch, this is a nice place to stay. It is not a full-service hotel with a restaurant or lobby. But is a mile away from campus, the rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. I would stay again if I could not get into one of the larger hotel chain offerings in the area close to Miami University.

This place has the potential to become good, but we encountered multiple significant issues during our 2-night stay that made the experience far from ideal. What was good: *Clean rooms *Helpful friendly staff *Comfortable beds Not so good: *Toilet in our room was clogged/not functional upon check-in. We arrived late and realized this only after one of the kids had already fallen asleep. Fortunately, they had other free rooms and we could quickly move next door. *Digital temperature setting on the aircon/heater unit in our first room (#25) was barely legible. *Sink faucet in our first room was in poor shape *Aircon/heater units were very loud while in operation, making us opt for having it shut off during our second night (which obviously got cold) *Our shower was out of or quickly ran out of hot water when we came back to our room after a race, so we were forced to shower in cold water. *No breakfast offering on site and the reception guy was unable to recommend anything nearby (not a big problem obviously but a bit surprising)

Good, comfortable stay. Our room didn’t have usb ports on lamps or anywhere and the outlets were all in use. My husband had to unplug the clock to use his C-pap. Otherwise, the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. We will stay here again when we come this way.

Wonderful place to stay if you need a clean place to stay for a night or two. Great rates and friendly staff. Room was clean and updated. No frills here. Just a wonderful little place to rest and relax if your on the road or visiting your child at Miami University. Staff was super friendly and attentive.

My kids swim at Miami University and this place is in a perfect location. There are plenty of places to eat and a grocery store nearby. The manager was very accommodating and very helpful.

The bed was super comfortable. Disappointing that the pool wasn’t working.

There were some "drippings" on the wall in the bathroom and around the toilet. The wallpaper is peeling off the wall in the walkway to the sink/bathroom.

It was the only hotel in town so we didn’t have any other choice but the first problem was the pool was closed, the bathtub didn’t drain well either. For a place to lay your head it was fine but they didn’t go out of their way to make it nice.
