We had to wait for maintenance to charge and unlock our room door’s lock because the keys didn’t work, after going downstairs several times for the keys to be reactivated/ re-sensitized. After a very long day we had to wait for over an hour for our room door to be opened so that we could get our stuff. Then they transferred us to another room, with a sporadic shower, sink and toilet. While taking a shower the water pressure would randomly go down to a light sprinkle. So you’re stuck there with soap in your eyes, trying to use the few drops that were coming out to rinse your eyes. Then the toilet was making noise all night. The hotel and ******* refused to compensate us for that one night. This is my second time booking through a third party for a Courtyard Marriott and I see that it is quite risky because the hotel will act like their hands are tied since you booked with a third party and then ******* will act like their hands are tied after calling the hotel to confirm the incident. ******* did offer a $150 coupon to use on another booking, but we would still have to pay for that night of inconvenience, with no access to our clothes, medicine, etc for all that time. No worries because I don’t plan to book through ******* or Courtyard Marriott again.
