This site is totally out of date The pub is under new ownership as of Xmas 2022 and the bad publicity is irrelevant. The new team are doing great work. Threat steak and chips , Fish and chips burgers last night with friends. Always worth a visit Carol and the team are very welcoming

The hotel was really cosy and the room was brilliant the owner was very friendly breakfast was huge i needed a taxi and even offered to take us to the wedding venue

Beautiful old pub packed with character and charm, excellent food and drink and a team that couldn’t have been more welcoming. Recently refurbished rooms with plenty of space, quiet and very comfortable.

Very friendly staff and easy check in. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and a reasonable price.Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Beautiful place with incredible staff. No hairdryer so make sure you bring one if you need one. Also ********** had me believe that I had booked a twin room, the accommodation is all double. Although there was nothing they could do, the staff were very helpful
