昆納瓦曼酒店(The Gunawarman)

This property is located at the heart of the city and close to everywhere. Retro kind of room. But if you are a service oriented person, DO NOT STAY in this hotel. The reception do not reply phone callls, similarly, room service also don’t pick up phone. Have to go down to the Sofia Resto person to order food. They don’t give late checkout until 2 pm. Max until 1 pm free and after that charges apply, very rigid on this and it’s not a good idea. Bathroom accessories are nice. They don’t reply emails send to their address also. Breakfast is Alacarte and no fruits. Poor selection of food. I will not stay in this hotel next time.

Pristinely clean and a very classy space, located in a nice and quaint part of the city. Ideal for business travellers with meetings around the SCBD area in Jakarta. Service was impeccable, and the rooms are clean and spacious.

The room is very cozy and unique, very comfortable and have a good service.

Love the vibe. One of the gem place to unwind in prominent location in the centre of Jakarta. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Small premise but staffs and facilities are excellent. Breakfast is served in Sofia ala carte, limited option but delicious menu.

객실이랑 욕실 인테리어는 프랜차이즈 호텔과는 달리 특색있고 이국적인 분위기 느낄 수 있어 좋았어요.. 직원분들은 완전 친절하세요^^ 결정적으로 식당사진보고 숙박을 결정했는데 기대가 너무 컸나봐요^^ 음식이 나쁘진 않지만 감동까진.. 욕실에 샤워부스 코너랑 세면대에 물때랑 곰팡이가 남아 있어서 안타깝네요.. 그리고 객실에서도 담배냄새가 느껴질 때도 있었고.. 식당에서도 흡연/금연 구분이 좀 애매해요.. 한 번은 묵을 법하지만 또 선택하진 않을 것 같아요^^

Of the past 20 English language reviews on Trip Advisor, 16 are by contributors with only one review to their name and the other four all have three or less reviews. That strikes me as odd at best. The room design is fine and bed comfortable. Service is slow, the restaurant is bad for the price and the room lacked proper blackout blinds. Overall this feels like a hotel run by real estate people and accountants not hoteliers.
