南太浩湖第6號汽車旅館(Motel 6 South Lake Tahoe, CA)

I stayed one night at Motel 6 during my travels around Lake Tahoe in July. This was one of the affordable places I could find which I still thought was expensive since I was not used to Lake Tahoe's economy. The place is clean and well equipped for a budget motel. It met my need for a restful night; the place was clean and comfortable. The front desk helpfully cautioned me about not leaving any food in the car due to bears in the area. Ample parking was available.

Checked in and front desk staff Luke was extremely rude like I was bothering him. Called the front desk tv not working , nice lady tried to fix it and could not, said someone would fix it today room 106. Just came back to room and still no tv day 2. Called front desk and Luke answered and was rude and extremely condisending. Said nothing I can do for you, I asked him name was he became super rude and he hung up on me. He should NOT be working dealing with customers. Looking at other reviews on other sights looks like they have alot of tv problems.

You don't go to Lake Tahoe to sit in a hotel room & you certainly don't want to pay a fortune so this place is what you need. Cameron & Mariah on reception were so friendly & full of useful advice & information. The room was more than adequate with a fridge & microwave but was a bit "snug" - still it was warm on a chilly evening & the shower was lovely & hot. Surprisingly there wasn't too much road noise. There are plenty of places to eat nearby & a supermarket just over the road. The early morning tea & coffee was greatly appreciated.

Best motel 6 we have ever stayed in! It was nothing fancy but it was nice! There was 4 of us and a baby. It was clean when we entered. Everything worked and staff was friendly. The only minor inconvenience was they didn’t have enough towels for us. However there was 4 of us. I card front desk and they had fresh clean ones the next morning so I could shower. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay ! Would definitely recommend this motel 6 if you’re looking for a basic room stay.

There are shady people listening to loud music in front of the rooms in their car, with engine on, screaming, banging doors. Hotel does NOTHING about it. This is definitely NOT a family friendly hotel. Please consider the well being of your guests.

Its all you really need when you come for a visit. I would recommend you stay here if you dont plan on being in your room that much. We would recommend here. They had a lot of availability the rooms were clean and the front desk was cordial.

Worst motel experience of my life. Motel 6 cancelled our reservation the day of our arrival. The Motel is in a horrible state of disrepair and is not clean. (I did notice that one room was boarded up by the county as unsafe). Pool maintenance work at 6 a.m. outside my room. Non smoking room reeked of stale cigarette smoke. The management of this motel does not care about its guests nor the state of the motel. Do not stay at this Motel 6.
