Awesome place. Very attentive staff. Free transfer from the border. Tasty Indian food in the restaurant. The only bad point was WiFi which was problematic.

Had to preserve with the conditions. Disappointing as we had to change rooms because there was only one bathroom yet 4 adults staying there and the sitting room was bigger than the rooms themselves. A big jacuzzi for no reason which we didn’t ask for. We downgraded and the bathroom shower taps did not work. Limited hot water for only 15minutes in the day. Everyday we asked for maintenance to fix it and no one helped or turned up. The taps were annoying- separate hot and cold taps and you had to press down on them like public toilets and they dispensed water for 5 seconds before having to press it again. The towels had stains on them. As soon as you opened the bathroom window you would have lots of mosquitoes coming in. The fridge didn’t work- turning the water in bottles into ice? Good location on the main road but food was further down 15/20 minutes walk. Only good thing was the chef was accommodating to our dietary requirements-managed to cook halal meals for us. Free transport to/fro airport (7minute drive). Wifi was a struggle- barely worked on/off and had to sign in ever so often with papers from reception- which is a walk from your room. Poor Wifi. Housekeeping had a tendency to move all your things in the room and didn’t put it back where it was after cleaning. Would not recommend esp. for the price we paid.

A well located hotel in the Main Street of Livingstone Zambia. Facilities and rooms were extremely well kept and cleanliness was top class. Spent 5 nights here and was particularly impressed by the friendliness and attention of all staff. Special mention must go to reception staff especially Duane and Allen who were so interested in our well-being and who treated us like family.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is a bit dated but seems to be well cared for. I didn't realize that the hotel seems to be catering to Indian guests, based upon the menu served in the restaurant and the Hindu meditation playing over the loudspeakers at 530 AM.

The staff was so helpful and kind. They did everything to make our stay wonderful! We are so thankful. We loved how conveniently located it was to shopping, restraurants and everything in Livingstone. Our room was great and exactly what was needed.

It looks so much better on the inside than the outside and the room we had was similar to the website photos. No mosquito nets but spray was provided and regularly used. The bedding however was old, tired and the pillows stained. It all needs replacing urgently. Food in the dining room was of good quality but the service was slow. There is no “ proper” coffee served, just the ricoffee with boiled milk if you order it in the restaurant. The staff at the front desk were always welcoming and wanting to ensure that all was well with us. The Wi-Fi wasn’t always consistent which was frustrating. We would stay here again as it was convenient for walking into town and the activity desk had a range of excursions to choose from. It was also budget friendly for us. But I would want to know that the bedding was clean and fresh if I did want to stay here again . We booked the Chobe day trip from here with the travel company African Joined and the service was exceptionally good.

The hotel is well located, at a walking distance to everywhere. The garden and the pool are well maintained and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely a great stay

We stayed for a week in New Fairmount Hotel (Lion, Deluxe family room). We were warmly welcomed by Maimbo at the airport and driven to the hotel. From reception to kitchen to night guard, gardeners and cleaning staff very cordial and helpful team. Especially Sylvia from housekeeping did a great job and she is a lovely person. We enjoyed the Indian cuisine from the hotel restaurant. The furnishings are a bit outdated. Good location for day trips to the Falls (Zambian and Zimbabwe side, 15 min cab ride). Overall a good price-performance ratio. P.S. With the big world map on the wall we planned the rest of our world trip

Well located in Livingstone. The staff is proactive. The food (indian) is amazing, like we were in India. Strongly recommend
