BBryce van de LaarThe Solymar beach resort is not the most expensive resort in the Hurghada/Safaga area, but it’s also not the cheapest. Because of this, we were expecting it to be quite middle-of-the-range in terms of quality. At every turn, we were pleasantly surprised and delighted.
The staff were friendly and courteous - whether at the reception, in the restaurant, or walking past someone watering the grass, you are guaranteed a friendly greeting. Everyone is quick to know their customers - after just a day in our usual spot on the beach, Ahmed knew our usual order. The hyper-energetic Magic Entertainment team members were also quick to build rapport and make us feel included in the resort vibes.
We plunged immediately into extreme relaxation with a “honeymoon massage” at the spa, which included time in the dry and steam saunas, a special hammam exfoliation ritual on a heated marble slab, a full-body Dead Sea mud wrap, and an oil massage. The masseuses were talkative and playful - possibly not to everyone’s taste, but this seems to be the Egyptian way and certainly got me smiling and giggling along.
There is not a moment of the day when you might be at risk of going hungry. From the early breakfast in the main restaurant, to the late breakfast at the beach, to the drinks and snacks on offer throughout the day at the pool bar and restaurant, there is always a wide array of quality F&B choices. There is some variation from day -to-day options, and it’s always worth checking out the “fresh-from-the-grill” area to see what the day’s speciality may be. Part of the stay includes one complementary meal at one of the two a la carte restaurants (Italian/Egyptian) where the food is a level or two up from what’s served in the buffets. Go hungry - the Egyptian meal included a starter of hot and cold mezze, a soup, a main course and a dessert (with alternative plant-based and kiddies’ menus).
The resort has done a lot to ensure that it is eco friendly. Apart from the usual request to hang up towels to save water on unnecessary cleaning, they also purify their own water, which is left in your room in chilled glass bottles (it tastes a little weird, but it’s good for the planet).
Overall, highly recommend the Solymar resort.

訪訪客這家喜來登酒店的工作人員是我住過萬豪旗下酒店最差的工作人員，1）在餐廳吃飯時我點了一個沙拉，兩個意麪，還正在繼續點的時候，服務員直接把菜單從我手裡拿走了。吃飯吃到一半服務員把賬單拿過來讓我付款，讓人感覺到不被尊重體驗非常不好。最後買單的時候多收了我一道菜錢，在我看小票的時候發現了才給我把多收的菜錢取消。2）在我們退房的時候，我問工作人員可不可以把行李寄存在酒店，工作人員問我為什麼？ 這是我住了十多年的酒店，第一次在客人要求寄存行李的時候被工作人員反問為什麼要寄存的酒店。這家工作人員無論是從態度專業度都很差勁！太離譜了！
The staff at this Sheraton hotel are the worst I have ever encountered among all Marriott-owned hotels.
1. When I was having dinner at the restaurant, I had ordered one salad and two pastas and was still ordering more when the waiter took the menu right out of my hand. Halfway through the meal, the waiter brought the bill and asked me to pay, which made me feel extremely disrespected. To make it worse, they overcharged me for an extra dish, which I only noticed after checking the receipt, and they only removed the charge then.
2. When checking out, I asked if I could leave my luggage at the hotel, and the staff actually asked me “Why?”. This is the first time in more than ten years of staying at hotels that I have been asked why I need to store my luggage.
The staff here are extremely unprofessional and rude in attitude. It is absolutely unacceptable.

訪訪客雖然是老牌酒店但是設施並不陳舊，床品有點起球但是很乾凈。酒店前台態度很好，我們凌晨一點入住給升級到了海景房，服務員幫忙抬箱子也沒有收小費。退房時間是中午12:00，可以寄存行李。海景比預想中好很多，可以躺一天不出海。三餐比較白人飯，早餐的蛋餅很好吃，晚餐有海蝦和魚。

匿匿名用戶先説結論：不推薦去赫爾格達花錢受氣，全員結構性歧視中國人。如果非要去，這家酒店可以考慮
1. 服務：餐廳工作人員還行，但是
– 沙灘上工作人員對白人會超級熱情聊天並主動詢問喝什麼，到我這就直接跳過，中國據我觀察都是吧枱自取。interesting，主打暗着噁心你。和manager投訴後，並無改善（管理團隊誠懇道歉了，但埃及結構性歧視也許無解）
– 沙灘上我還因為搬動了一個沒人用的圍欄被工作人員大吼（旁邊白人一個人用兩個就毫無問題了）
2. 配套：説是四個餐廳，但根本預約不到，等於只有一個餐廳，食堂水平的食物。只有燒烤吧還行。但凡住過其他地方的全包酒店，都誇不出來
3.房間：裝修很搓，國內廉價快捷酒店水平，招待所三個字形容最準確
總之赫爾格達這個地方完全不推薦，這個酒店已經是評價相對不錯的了

Steigenberger Aqua Magic Hurghada – A 5-Star Resort That Feels Like 2 or 3 (depending on the topic). Before booking Steigenberger Aqua Magic Hurghada, we did our research—watched videos, checked reviews, and set our expectations accordingly. Listed as a 5-star hotel on Google and TripAdvisor, we expected a premium experience. However, once we arrived, we quickly realized that the reality fell far short of the rating.
1. The “All-Inclusive” That Isn’t Quite All-Inclusive
The hotel advertises six restaurants, but the all-inclusive package only grants access to three—and even that comes with strict limitations. You must stay at least five nights to even qualify for reservations; otherwise, the buffet is your only guaranteed option. But even if you meet the criteria, getting a reservation is a struggle, and once inside, you’re pushed to pay extra for items outside the package. The upselling is relentless, from premium wines to certain dishes, turning what should be a relaxing meal into a sales pitch. Oh, and if you were hoping for fresh juice with breakfast? Extra charge.
2. Facilities: Decent, But Not 5-Star Worthy
✔ The pool, beach area, and lounge are well-maintained.
✔ Bars are available all day, and staff work hard to keep areas clean.
✖ Some rooms show clear signs of neglect, making this feel nowhere near a true 5-star hotel.
If this hotel were truly 5-star, there wouldn’t be visible maintenance issues, questionable service, and inconsistent quality across the board.

訪訪客泄湖景完全是來搞笑的，所謂泄湖就是個小水泡，陽臺中間還隔着一段距離和樹擋着，跟其他評論一樣，存在一定的歧視，但是大部份工作人員還是挺友善的，雖然這本來就是他們應該做的。中間想加錢升級海景，帶我們去看的也還是一個稍微大一點的水泡而已，工作人員告訴我這已經是最好的海景房了，最後並沒有升級，泳池開放時間特別晚關閉時間卻很早，如果要出海這家酒店完全沒必要，吃的甚至不如國內100塊錢人民幣的自助餐，基本都靠吃麪包吃飽的，我們拿行李小費給了一美金態度還可以，同行的另一對沒有零錢了給了10埃磅態度就很差，對於一家五星級酒店這種事不應該發生，還是建議加錢選擇更好的全包酒店，或者普通的全包，想省錢或者出海沒有時間在酒店那就市區選擇一家便宜的就好了，這邊出行也並不方便，最後，我們check out的時候工作人員態度非常好，忘記問他的名字了，當看到我們自己拿行李過來了一直在向我道歉，告訴我他們應該安排擺渡車過來接我們的，海邊和泳池邊工作人員也很好，太陽下山後我們想去游泳，海邊的工作人員告訴我太陽下山後海里很危險，並且開玩笑説會有鯊魚，泳池邊的工作人員很耐心的告訴我泳池關閉了，要消毒，會傷眼睛，總的來説，真的不值這個價

訪訪客通過攜程預訂了兩間兩天的最基本房型，預訂的房型攜程給了升級權益，在入住的時候酒店並未兑現，我在向酒店指出後仍被拒絕，同時我在網上諮詢攜程客服，很快得到了解決，這裏必須贊一下攜程客服解決問題的效率，我在埃及之旅遇到的兩次住宿問題都高效幫我解決了。
不過升級後的房型也就一般，房間很大，最不滿意床墊，感覺已經很舊了是塌的。
我們定的全包，吃得選擇很多，總的來説性價比很高了。

訪訪客位置優越,步行可用的老城鎮,有商店和餐廳,靠近島上的Zeytona海灘,乘船或步行10分鐘,有一家餐廳在島上有酒吧。美味的早餐。服務很好,孩子們在努力,不是從子下,從心裏。酒店當然是溫和的說”累了”,需要翻新,但員工的努力和位置可以補償)。我很高興回來。

GGabriella45入住時居然遭遇代理商把訂單取消了，差點沒入住成功，攜程客服還是挺給力的幫忙解決問題。
酒店不靠海，有兩個泳池，不大，沒來得及下水，第二天要出海所以定這家衹包早晚餐非常划算。
check in時送了前台一支筆，沒有要求升級房間，但是給安排了2樓一件套房。餐廳有點小，自助餐味道還可以。
