Wingate by Wyndham Garner/Raleigh South

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a Wingate by Wyndham Garner/Raleigh South. From the moment I stepped into the lobby until the day of my departure, I was thoroughly impressed with the level of cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the entire establishment. The first thing that struck me was the warm and welcoming a**osphere as I entered the hotel. The staff at the front desk greeted me with smiles and were helpful. In the room the linens were fresh, the surfaces were spotless, and the overall cleanliness was impeccable. It was evident that the hotel placed a high priority on maintaining a hygienic environment for its guests. Throughout my stay, I also explored the hotel's facilities. The dining area, fitness center, and lounges were all clean and well-organized. Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure, you can rest assured that your stay at this hotel will be an enjoyable and memorable one.

I have stayed at this location 3 times over 5 years when visiting family. The price through web offers is very reasonable. I am easy to please and my stay was fine. The conditions overall are tired, and a little beat up. The bedding was clean and comfortable. The mattress was a little less than good, but again, not terrible just old. The TV and channels are extremely limited with no premium access, no guide, and generally no tech options at all. The remote is so old it rattles and the front desk noted that they might be 30 years old and battery changes don't solve always help, but I was brought ann alternative remote that was marginally better. The area that the hotel is in seems to have trended down, as it is mostly used cars, and otherwise industrial. However, it is very convenient to main roads and access points. The most shocking part of my stay was walking into the lobby mid-day to the overwhelming odor of flatulence!!! Someone Cleary didn't see the need to step outside and the venting of the lobby was nil, as the stink was still there when I left again an hour later. A bit shocking to say the least...so, I may be shopping around for other options next time because they aren't investing in the property to maintain their 2 star standards.

As soon as we walked in we could smell bleach and laundry which is always a good sign. Check in/out process was a breeze. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The bed was so comfortable. We didn’t grab breakfast but they had a waffle maker and lots of goodies out. We will definitely be back.

Stains on the carpet in the room and bathroom TV was not a smart tv and was difficult to change channels as the remote was worn out and basic cable was a challenge. Orange Juice dispenser didn't work at breakfast. One waffle machine with limited options for coffee

The hotel was ok but I expected more with the price tag. The bed was not comfortable at all. My wife has back issues and she could barely sleep because the bed didn't offer enough support for her back. I also expected a better selection at the continental breakfast. Usually my wife likes hard boiled eggs and they had none. It was all scrambled eggs, sausage, oa**eal, yogurt. No potatoes of any kind. No bacon. They do have 2 waffle makers so that was a plus. We had a bug in our room as well. But they did have a pool that others were using and a fitness center that didn't look like it was getting much use. The location was fine. Relatively close to everything that we needed. I've been in much worse establishments but if I go back, I'll be picking a different hotel.

Everything was fine except the TV. You guys should really think about upgrading the television. There was no guide or any features where I could have at least mirrored my phone to the tv so the children could at least watch something

My family and I have been coming to this hotel for the past 2 years and it's has always been pleasant and clean. But, this time the room we had carpet was filthy, the chairs had stains. Along with the mattresses were very uncomfortable. No fault to the hotel there was a little lead football team at the hotel, who decided to run up and down the hallways making noise until 11pm. Hopefully the next time will be better.

I explicitly explained to the staff at the reception that I was exhausted after a 7-hour flight, and I requested a quiet bedroom. I got a room right up next to the elevators, with patrons traffic up and down pretty much all night long. The carpet in the bedroom was unclean with spots and hair; the bed was not made after the first night. While breakfast is "complementary", it is just appalling both in food options and quality. Not recommended at all. And if you do not have a car, forget about finding a nearby place for dinner.
