斯塔靈波勒農莊酒店(Stallingborough Grange Hotel)

Stayed here on business. Chose hotel as website looked really good, great pictures, looked a lovely place. However, the place is very tired and in need of a revamp. My room was clean, but dated, bathroom looks like an early 1990's fit, the shower worked but was very noisy, which will definitely have upset next door room at 6am!! The toilet had ingrained dirt in the bowl. The restaurant is also very dated decor wise and needs a full refurb. The food was mediocre, I had full rack of ribs, which just tasted like cheap meat, the sauce wasn't tasty at all. Certainly not worth £24.00 for the full rack!! I find the whole place expensive for what it is, definitely needs a refurb. Overall underwhelmed!

Went to a Burns night celebration..the place was stunning..we were a large function room with a stunning chandelier and lighting on the ceiling...the staff were all very friendly and the food was fabulous..my only issue is the price at the bar. £3.40 for a small americano

Well we had an excellent Turkey Christmas Dinner with friends and all were happy, that was yesterday and cooked by myself! We have just returned from the local Stallingborough Grange Hotel for todays 'Official' Christmas Dinner, we have had Christmas Lunch there before, New Years Eve Meals and many, many other meals for years there, all OK. We booked todays Christmas Lunch in September for 13:30, arrived at 13:15 to be told we had been expected at 12:30 (email confirmation dated 16/09/23 shown to them showing our 13:30 booking confirmation). Starter: looked as though it had been out in the kitchen all morning judging by the well wilted rocket on it. Main: Pigs in Blankets - anaemic looking sausage with no colour and pink greasy streaky bacon - Dare not eat it as it looked so undercooked! Tiny portion of ""mashed"(?) potato - smaller than a roast potato with LUMPS and cold Roast (overcooked / charred) carrot - cold! Turkey- dry Roast Potatoes Luke warm Green Beans - warm Sprouts - best of the food on the plate Dessert: Tasty Christmas Pudding and custard although only just luke warm We were asked if everything was OK as we ate (some not all of our main) - No! was our reply - Netty (staff member) told us she would inform Amelia (family member who own and run it) as Amelia - no visit came from Amelia. Caught Amelia as she passed our table before we left and voiced our dismay - she stated we should have let them know - we said we had - she was basically laughing at us as she walked away. We paid £89 p/p for the experience but I doubt we will ever step foot in there again despite 18 years of regular patronage.

Good, clean, comfortable hotel. We were there for a Xmas party, food excellent, served well. Staff pleasant and bedrooms away from the main restaurant, so quiet.

As the bride of the wedding on the 6/5, both myself and my husband would like to thank stallingborough for all their work in ensuring our wedding day was everything we wanted. They went above and beyond with everything and couldn't do anymore to help.the food was amazing,they allowed us a few days prior to set up which was so handy. The honeymoon suite was lovely especially the bath! And overlooking the ponds and watching everyone enter the venue before I appeared!. I wouldn't listen to any negative comments because they really are not a true reflection of this at all,just go and see for yourself. My family and I attended a wedding at the hotel on the same day as the King’s coronation and it was such a wonderful day ! The Wedding building is so lovely and the staff did a great job getting everything changed around quickly after the service. The staff were super helpful and the day ran so smoothly . We didn’t stay over but wished we had ! Highly recommended as a wedding venue !

The room was a little outdated but all was in good order. The bed was very comfortable, one of the best I’ve slept in for a while. The room was dark and quiet at night and the tv was massive. The kettle was fixed in a strange location low down, under a cupboard but that was the only unusual thing. The food was great, both evening meal and breakafast with a good selection of higher-end traditional pub food and the beer selection at the bar was spot on - black sheep on tap! Staff were lovely; polite, funny and attentive. Has a small but perfectly formed gym which I used. Was nice and cold in there, some hotel gyms are as hot as saunas….

Absolutely brilliant hotel! Got greeted warmly, easy check in, lovely room and warm with hot water and great tv. Ate in the restaurant in the evening, wonderful food, fast efficient service and breakfast was great too. Will highly recommend 😊😊

Excellent choice of food for breakfast and evening meal. Well presented and full of flavour. Comfortable bedroom but lighting could have been better. Couldn't see to read with just the bedside lamp on. Very enjoyable stay.
