拉利馬爾Spa酒店(Hotel & Spa Larimar)

Zuerst: Sehr schöne, große und saubere Thermen und Saunawelt mit einem großzügigen Angebot an Saunen, Dampfbädern, und diversen Thermal-, Meer und Süßwasserbecken. In Kombination mit den Ruheräumen absolut perfekt zur Entspannung! Garten sehr schön und an den geräumigen Zimmern ist ebenfalls nichts auszusetzen. Die Beauty Gesichtsbehandlung hat mir sehr gut gefallen und das Spa Angebot ist wirklich sehr vielfältig! ABER: Unser größter und entscheidender Kritikpunkt ist die Kulinarik bzw das vegane Essen. Wir ernähren uns vegan. Wir haben dies sowohl telefonisch als auch per email bei der Buchung bekannt gegeben. Wir haben unsere Erwartungen genau kommuniziert und vorallem darauf insistiert, dass wir mehr als nur Salat essen wollen. Es wurde uns gesagt es sei kein Problem und die Küche würde informiert werden. Bei der Ankunft an der Rezeption haben wir dies, um nochmal sicher zu gehen, erneut vermerkt, mit der Antwort es sei bereits notiert. Wir freuten uns also ein Hotel mit einem guten Angebot an veganer Küche gefunden zu haben. Spätestens beim Frühstück traf uns dann endgültig der Schock. Die "vegane Ecke" ist einfach nur lächerlich. Viel mehr als ein ganzer Rasen Kresse befindet sich dort nämlich nicht. Soll das etwa ein ausreichendes Frühstück sei? Veganes Gebäck gab es keines, nur zwei Aufstriche aus der Dose und Milch. Was wäre zum Beispiel mit: vegane Croissants, einen veganen Porridge, selbstgemachte verschiedene Aufstriche, ein veganes Omelette, veganer Kuchen, veganer S*****en, gebratener Tofu, vegane Pancakes,.... Wenn schon nicht selber gemacht gibt es doch mittlerweile soo viel zu kaufen!!! Das Mittagessen war nur noch schlimmer. Abgesehen, dass sowieso nichts gekennzeichnet ist und man ständig nachfragen muss war dann im Endeffekt nicht einmal der Nudelsalat vegan. Zum Mittag aßen wir also, außer pure Salat Blätter da es selbst an Dressings mangelte, genau gar nichts. Und dafür soll man zahlen! Das Abendessen war ebenfalls eine Enttäuschung! Da gab es zumindest etwas zum Essen jedoch einfältiger könnte es kaum sein. Jeden Tag das selbe. An einem Tag Pastinakensuppe und an nächsten Karottensuppe und dann auch noch Karottenleibchen. Genauso einmal Kartoffelsuppe und dann Kartoffel Rösti. Billiger geht es wohl kaum. Das Essen war geschmacklos und preislich überhaupt nicht mit dem nicht-veganen Angebot vergleichbar! Um eine Kartoffel als Hauptgericht zu essen brauche ich mich nicht in ein 4-Sterne Hotel begeben. Wie wäre es denn mit: Trüffel Risotto, Spargel Spaghetti, veganes Steak, Tofuschnitzel, Bärlauchsuppe,... Es fehlt außerdem überall das Protein, das ist sehr ungesund und alles andere als "Vital Küche" Eine pure Enttäuschung. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt somit nicht. Man fühlt sich seines Geldes beraubt. Wir haben uns schließlich an der Rezeption beschwert. Aus anderen Rezensionen lese ich, sie wären sehr großzügig bei solchen Anliegen. Jedoch ist man uns keineswegs entgegen gekommen. Wir haben nicht explizit um

Das Hotel ist eine der besten Wellness Oasen, die wir kennen. Die Mitarbeiter sind unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und kompetent. Obwohl wir in den Energieferien dort waren und das Hotel schon sehr gut gebucht war, fand man immer reichlich Platz zum Entspannen, auch die Schwimmbecken und die Saunen waren nicht überfüllt. Ayurvedische Behandlungen waren sehr angenehm. Zum Frühstück gab es ein überaus reichhaltiges Angebot, nachmittags Kuchen war sehr lecker, das Gourmetmenue am Abend schmeckte hervorragend, die Weinkarte ist umfangreich, einmal hatten wir auch einen Winzer da, dessen Weine man verkosten konnte. Der Barbereich ist sehr schön, am Abend war leider nur einmal live- Musik, so etwas haben wir sehr gerne. Es steht schon fest, wir kommen wieder!

Ich war mit meiner Tochter einige Tage im Larimar. Das Ambiente, der Wellnessbereich, die Zimmer haben und sehr gut gefallen und wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal verdient die höchste Auszeichnung, da alle ausnahmslos, sehr freundlich, höflich und zuvorkommend waren. Leider waren wir mit dem Gastroangebot, zumal es sich um ein 4SternSuperior Hotel handelt und man auch dementsprechend viel zahlt, nicht ganz zufrieden. Die Salate vom Salatbuffet sind teilweise geschmacklos und aus der "Dose". Die Vorspeisen, z.B.: die kalten Getreidebällchen, schmeckten wie drei Tage alte Falafel. Der Geschmack vom Seehecht war auch sehr fragwürdig und schmeckte für mich nicht frisch...Aber wirklich enttäuscht waren wir vom Mehlspeisenangebot, diese schmeckten teilweise nach unnatürlichen Zutaten und auch die Farbe der Mehlspeisen deutete auf keine natürlichen Zutaten hin. Die Himbeersoße war unnatürlich rot und schmeckte bitter. Statt Schlagobers auf den Nachspeisen befand sich eine weiße, geschmacklose, süße Creme. Ich finde es einfach in einem Mehlspeisenland wie Österreich, wo es viele ausgezeichnete Patissière und BäckerInnen gibt, furchtbar solche Mehlspeisen in einem gehobenen Hotel den Gästen zu kredenzen. Schade :(

Since our children live abroad we decided to spend this Christmas at the Larimar Hotel and Spa in Burgenland with friends. Wow what an amazing experience. Our hosts Johann and Daniela and all the wonderful staff created a delightful Christmas special that included a hike to the local village where we were guests of the mayor ( there is also a pure spring water shrine that has been providing fresh water for over 300 hundred years). There were evening concerts and special treats (like Kaiserschmarrn, champagne and Gluhwein) and a special Christmas feast. One cannot go hungry at Larimar. The food is spectacular starting with the endless morning buffet to the gourmet evening cuisine. The staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make sure your stay is pleasurable. The spa area is very functional with spa pools and seating areas set up to make sure each guest is special. I really like the fact that there was ample and various quiet areas to relax, read or sleep. No need to rush to reserve your chair, there were always great lounges available. The various pools never seemed overcrowded and that added to the relaxing atmosphere of enjoying the warm water as the mist rose up into the frosty air. There are an array of spa treatments and saunas to please very want. We also enjoyed many leisurely walks in the rolling Stegersbach countryside. Our comfortable room included a huge balcony that accommodated lounge chairs and a patio set that greeted the morning sun and had panoramic views of the rolling countryside and the snow capped mountains in the distance. I cannot say enough about the overwhelming hospitality and hands on care that Johann and Daniela treat all their guests. We will definitely return to Larimar for another relaxing and pampered stay.

Overall: very relaxing, hotel area clean, friendly staff, good food. Can recommend for a stay. Very attentive staff, very good massages/treatments. Cannot comment on saunas. Thermal water area is not very big and can get a touch crowded when busy (note that this is the same in the vast majority of natural spring thermal resorts however!), the sport swimming pool is huge, and phantastic! Restaurant food solid, only ****** was that the sald choice a touch weak and at a bit repetitive, but minor ******. Lots of areas to sit down in the hotel. Would not hesitate to visit again for a relaxing stay without being in an overly stuffy hotel.

Perfect hotel, nice location, excellent indoor and outdoor pools, Gault Millau rated restaurant… still the overall experience was spoiled almost immediately upon our arrival. We couldn’t open our room door, so the staff lead personally by the owner of the hotel changed first the batteries. At our next attempt we could not open the door again. A bit tired and nervous I went to the reception desk, but they did not look very helpful. Anyway, the lock was repaired again, but no use, we could not enter again. Most of our time we spent on the corridor connecting the room and the reception. Finally, they offered to change to card lock to a classical key lock. This time we could enter to our room whenever it was needed. Until next morning. Someone knocked on our door early morning, introducing himself as maintenance, saying he will replace the whole lock system with a new one. He did, but we couldn’t enter to our room again. After several attempts, spending most of our time again on the corridor between our room and the reception, I asked to replace the electronic lock with the classic type key lock. The staff was not friendly any longer. I asked why didn’t the contact us prior repair attempts on our second day of visit, but never got a reply. This was the birthday of my wife. Earlier, the night before I noticed that persons celebrating their birthday at Larimar are getting a nice surprise. I asked the head of the restaurant on duty if they can prepare a surprise for my wife. Sure, he said, that’s usually a small cake for two with two glasses of champagne. My request was obviously noted, because the day after our table in the restaurant was decorated, and there was a humiliating present, a cheque worth 20 euros, but no cake, no champagne. When I asked this time the other head of the restaurant on duty what happened, and where is the ordered surprise, he disappeared and never got back. We arrived to a three day visit in the afternoon. The booked and paid service was full board, lunch and afternoon desert included, but we had to start with a dinner. You’ll get a lunch package on your departure, we’ve been told. Left the hotel before noon, but we never got our last meals. It’s a pity, because the place is lovely. But the human part of the service was simply horrible. Very unusual for the country.

This hotel is a four-star resort only in name, it does not live up to the rating. While the location is nice and the people are generally friendly, the hotel lacks several things: staff, well trained or empowered staff; badly needed renovations of the property and the rooms; general grooming of the landscaping around the hotel. Answer to every question and every guest request is normally, ‘ we’re not sure if this could be done’ and it needs to be coordinated and aligned with one of the 2 owners. And if the owners are not available (on the phone, sleeping), you don’t get an answer at all. Staff seems to be untrained, inexperienced, lacking in customer service. If you plan on using the Internet while at the hotel, forget about doing it between 11 PM and 6 AM - THEY TURN THE WI-FI OFF! Never heard this happening at any hotel in any country until we landed at this one. We had to cut our stay short and leave the hotel after one night because we needed access to the Internet around the clock due to work reasons. Found a much better place around the corner, where we happily spent the rest of our vacation.

Wir waren als Familie zwischen Weihnachten und Silvester im Larimar und waren begeistert. Schönes, großes Hotel, toller und umfangreicher Wellness-Bereich, freundliches Personal und wunderbares Essen (4 Menüs, vegane Optionen). Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Ich war mit Freundinnen letztes Wochenende in Ihrer Therme - leider hat mich die Zeit bei Ihnen mit nicht sehr erholsamen Erinnerungen hinterlassen. Für mich ist der Standard/Service im Hause einem 4Stern Superior Hotel nicht angemessen. Dies spiegelt sich in den doch sehr dunklen, tristen Zimmern wieder, die abgewohnt wirken. Ebenso ist die Qualität des Essens nicht einem 4Stern Plus Standard angemessen - vielfach wirken die Gerichte geschmacklos, beim Salatbuffet hat man das Gefühl, dass viele Sorten aus der Dose kommen - ebenso hat der Kuchen tw. gekauft geschmeckt . Das ausländische Personal ist bemüht, aber nicht herzlich freundlich. Man hat eher das Gefühl, dass man abgefertigt wird. Im Restaurantbereich ist zwischen den einzelnen Tischen viel zu wenig Platz. Man fühlt sich beengt. Der Thermenbereich war für mich die einzige positive Ausnahme. Aber das ist leider zu wenig, um sich wirklich wohl zu fühlen. Das Gesamtpaket war leider nicht stimmig und hier gibt es noch viel Luft nach oben.
