The property is great located close to major residential areas. When the SPA is complete this will be a real gem! This property has the potential to be exceptional with a real bushveld feel, but it is let down by the service which is unfortunately not at the same level. Management was nowhere to be seen and I suspect that this has much to do with the service levels.

We went for our company's year end event and it was honestly unforgettable. The check in was seamless. We went on our game drive and it was super amazing being able to see all the animals and learn about the area. We had lunch at the Boma - which was so beautiful and very reminiscent of a Sunday braai (but definitely with elevated food). Our day ended off with a three course meal at the main restaurant which was also amazing. Let me not forget about our rooms. the rooms were beautiful and had everything you needed. the shower is bigger than some apar**ents and the bath tub was so luxurious and big. Everyone at the hotel was super welcoming and friendly, assisting us with everything we needed. It was definitely one for the books. side note: We couldn't use the pool as it was under construction, but some of my colleagues mentioned that there was another pool available - however, none of us ended up swimming so can't confirm if there was.

What a pleasant surprise to have found this bushveld gem almost in the city. We stayed in the Sky room, what a view, you can see forever over the bushveld. The Hot Tub was a highlight and was kept the right temperature throughout our stay. Service by all personnel exceeded expectations and dinner was on 5 star standards. This property can become 5 star when the swimming pool and spa are completed, well done and thank you.

Everything was a delight! Truly enjoyed the stay as well as the service! All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and so were the activities. It’s just a pity we came when the main pool wasn’t operating.

The place is okay, spectacular views and great service. For a luxury resort and for their rates, I do believe that they can do some improving with the smaller things that make the stay more hospitablez

The service by restaurant staff was wonderful and the food was good. Our dinner however was impacted by a very rowdy group which spoilt what was intended to be a romantic dinner to celebrate my husbands birthday. The place is clean. Lights leading from room to restaurant would be helpful - very dark for a walk if you choose not to call for a cart. Our stay was ok but I don't feel that there I got real value for money and i certainly didn't feel that I got the special experience I was hoping for

Beautiful setting less than 30min drive from the heart of JHB and Sandton. Spent just a night with my wife. But its perfect for a quick weekend or midweek away, right around the corner for Joburgers. Tranquil setting, easily accessible. Friendly, attentive and helpful staff throughout the property. Rooms with stunning peaceful view. The rooms are eco friendly built, need a bit of a refresh but still comfortable and enjoyable. Wish they had a better coffee in room like pods or french press.

when ready to go down to dinner had problems contacting hotel reception to fetch us, it may have been load shedding, difficulties locating switches for lamps in the evening and not enough light at make-up table. food very good but had to wait rather long considering there were very few guests.lovely chalet, wonderful views

It's a great getaway in close proximity to Johannesburg. It felt like a retreat... rest, relax and lounge. The food at the restaurant wasn't so great at least dinner was to be desired. I made my concerns known and I'm hopeful they will do better. Otherwise, a nice, comfortable and quiet stay with a mind, body centering view of the African veld.
