羅布羅伊酒店(Rob Roy Hotel)

Das Rob Roy ist ein Hotel, das vorwiegend von Bussen und Reisegesellschaften angefahren wird. Es ist sehr groß und verfügt über reichlich Parkplätze. Für Individualtouristen gibt es einen separaten Speiseraum mit sehr schöner A**osphäre. Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber, wir hatten Glück mit dem Blick in den Wald. Auch das Bad ist für britische Verhältnisse groß. Wir haben uns Wohl gefühlt. Besonders toll war das Abendessen, welches man dazu buchen kann. Der Preis war nicht zu toppen.

We could not fault this hotel.We were with a coach party but the hotel coped well with the fact they had 3 coaches to look after at once.Our room was spotless,towels and bedding clean,bathroom up to date and very clean.All the staff were helpful and the catering staff worked miracles getting everyone’s meal out hot and quickly.Having seen some earlier reviews I think these people must have stayed at a different hotel

Séjourné le 08/06/2023. Nous y avons séjourné dans le cadre d'un voyage organisé avec repas le soir, une nuit à l’hôtel et le petit déjeuner le matin. Dans l'ensemble les prestations étaient correctes même si on était loin des prestations du Hilton d'Aberdeen où nous avions séjourné la veille. Lit confortable, nourriture tout à fait correcte, un peu de marche à pied à travers les couloirs pour rejoindre la chambre. Le matin, j'ai été faire une petite promenade sur le sentier pédestre qui passe à coté de l’hôtel, un hôtel donc un peu bucolique mais qui reste correct tout de même

Great location,fantastic breakfasts, good dinners. The rooms are basic it could do with an uplift,if your expecting 3 star accommodation you will be disappointed. Very surprised that the policy on covid was still in place no room service and towels would only be replaced on request yet no diffs sharing cutlery plates cups etc at meal time,staff friendly and entertainment twice a week

The rooms are basic but clean with a hairdryer and coffee and tea making facilities, paths and gravel have ****s growing out of them with a slightly rundown look. The bar and restaurant were clean and had a cared for look to them. The breakfast was serve yourself with a good range to choose from and plentyful. The evening meal was plain, stodgy and tasteless and potion sizes small a real disappoin**ent.

Just returned from a Motorcycle rally at The Rob Roy Hotel in Aberfoyle. There were 140 of us using every room in the hotel. The staff were really helpful and friendly, the food was really tasty so they must have excellent chefs in the kitchen. The bar prices were good value and the rooms were comfy with tea and coffee facilities in each room. Not exactly 4 star rooms but very clean with comfy beds and ensuite bathrooms. Stunning scenery in the area with views to die for. Dukes Pass us great for motorbikes, Loch Katrine boat cruise is interesting. Stirling Castle and William Wallace memorial is good to visit. Not to far to Loch Lomond either. We all had a brilliant time. I would thoroughly reccomend this hotel for its value for money and location. Its just a short walk along the path by the river to Aberfoyle where they have Petrol, a Supermarket and Cafes.

Situé dans une campagne sans charme, un hôtel vieillot aux chambres spacieuses mais où le service est aléatoire : chambre pas faite, course à la femme de ménage pour trouver des serviettes propres. Restaurant quelconque.

Place was clean although I thought there was a pool based on the strong smell of the bleach product used for cleaning. I can see the appeal for bus groups but don’t stay here unless you like visiting a seniors care home. Food was terrible.

For the money we spent, we had a good stay! The room was clean and tidy, warm and spacious. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely - good choice and all freshly cooked. Friends stayed a local, much more expensive and higher starred hotel but we definitely stayed in the better/nicer location here! Would recommend for a local stay!
