碼頭邊老城旅館(Dockside Hostel Old Town)

Zeer goed hostel voor een weekend. Top locatie. Een beetje Kleine kamers maar meer heb je niet nodig, zachte bedden. Heel vriendelijk onthaal door de eigenaar ook indien je aankomt later op de avond. Geen ervaring met hoe de keuken is want heb ik niet gebruikt

I loved this place. I read the negative reviews and, yeah, I can kinda see where they’re coming from…..but it’s missing the point. It’s a three century old building. It’s a cheap place to nest while you explore what’s outside its door. It’s a communal experience, because it’s small. Expect to talk, expect to make friends. The manager is a terrific fellow, but it’s not the Hilton: you mostly have to fend for yourself. Write down the door code— there’s no 24 hr front desk. All the guests are assumed to be grownups. I loved it.

Location is incredible, its just right next to the water. A few minutes walk to many great spots, pub-crawling and tourist sightseeing. It has a kitchen and it can be messy at time. Bed and shower rooms are ok but a bit pricey for its quality. I still had a pleasant stay at the hostel.

The owner of the hostel is according to my experiences the rudest person I have met in Stockholm. He does not treat me with respect and shouted at me although he knew he charged me wrongly. It is in my responsibility to read the house rules and the terms and conditions, which I did in advance, but it is in his responsibility to comply to them and if he does not understand them he should find legal assistance and not just charging people who are complying to the rules! I do not recommend to support this person's business, as I request a fair and respectful treatment and not just random shoutings.

Lage cool. Extrem schmutzig! Alle Räumlichkeiten waren sehr verschmutzt. Es lagen benutzte Taschentücher im Zimmer. Staubschichten …usw Als das Personal darauf angesprochen wurde reagierte es sehr unhöflich und unverschämt. Schade! Dieser Ort könnte mit einwenig Liebe zu einer Perle verwandelt werden.
