SpringHill Suites Reno

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was modern and had all of the amenities. The room is a different layout than we were used to, but it was used perfectly. There was an indoor pool, hot tub, and workout room that looked great but we didn’t get to use it because we were busy. The breakfast was average continental breakfast, nothing super impressive. Other than this, our room was great, the AC was great, the bed was very comfortable, and it felt very safe. Only a short 10-15 minute drive to inner Reno activities

Horrible costumer service. Was booked for one night after a later arrival at Reno Airport (11PM). My flight was delayed 3x and I contacted the hotel to let them know my arrival time was now pushed to 2AM. They told me to make sure I’m there before 3AM, I said how can I control that it’s the airline? But was hopeful no more delays!! They assured me it would be ok and told the overnight staff. As I was coming from NY and already having significant delays. After horrific experience with the airline (boarding, sitting on plane for an hour then deplaning and waiting for another hour) my flight was ultimately cancelled… now almost 7 hours after original departure time. It took hours of scrambling to get onto another flight but had to fly to a different destination, then drive 5 hours. It was a horrible travel night into day. Once the plane touched down in CA, I immediately contacted hotel again. I was told I was a “no show” even though I contacted them to tell them about my delays. They refused to issue me a refund. This was out of my control and I had the documentation to prove it. They acted as if I never contacted them in the first place. Beware of this hotel!! Stole my money. How can you be located outside of a airport and not give grace for those travel that was disrupted by the airline?! I spent hours researching which hotel by RENO airport to stay at, what a joke!

Pool room was stuffy and hot. But it was good enough for the kids. Staff were very friendly. The food and dining available for the area were not sufficient for late night (after 10pm) dining and was limited to fast food. Twelve to fifteen minutes away there was more of a selection of late night dining but not worth the drive. Overall the stay was nice and would definitely stay there again.

We stayed in a suite to accommodate our large family. The space was ample, clean, and pretty. We arrived over two hours early, but they kindly let us check in anyway. The breakfast had lots of options, especially for oa**eal—lots of mix-in choices. The pool wasn’t anything special, but plenty adequate for kids to play in.

Got to the room after a long road trip with the family and the TV was not functioning. Called front desk and was told “sorry, nothing we can do.” Front desk later called back and she said she would knock $50 off our stay for the inconvenience. We asked if there was anything she needed us to do to make sure we received the $50 discount, she said “no, the manager would take care of it tomorrow morning.”Charge finalized today and it was for the original amount.
