斯託頓戴斯酒店(Days Inn by Wyndham Stoughton WI.)

The room was mid but Pankaj completely turned the experience to the better. Pankaj is the kindest front desk attendant I have ever had in both cheap and expensive hotels. He is an absolute saint and provided needed services at all hours of the night. He is a wonderful man and should seek higher quality customer services where he could thrive.

Very friendly staff and the rooms and appearance of the place was top notch. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone to stay there. I look forward to my next stay with them. Cable TV was nice as well.

Our toilet broke down, the staff handed us a plunger, stating there was no night maintenance. We had to use the public one in the lobby, which was a long walk to. We weren’t compensated, as we booked through a third party

Things had to be fixed inside our room upon check-in, like drapes and rod on the floor, plus things in bathroom. They did fix them, but the lack of security for the outside entrances, and our deadbolt lock were not fixed.

Terrible cleanliness and hotel run down! I guess the old saying of you get what you pay for stands true. The only reason we booked this hotel was because all others were booked in town. We were here for a funeral and staying here made it 50 times worse!!! We found ***** hair in our towels, hair on the sheets and pillows. The light in the bathroom was exposed and showing spider webs. Hotel staff lives there and likes to hang outside in their off time and smoke cigarettes outside of one of the entrances! Disgusting place!!! DONT STAY HERE!!!

This was hands down the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had. Came to town for a wedding. Checked into my room and quickly changed and left not really giving the room a good look. Came back very late and went to bed. It wasn’t until the next morning that I realized the absolute nasty room I was staying in. Mold covered the ceiling of the bathroom, the door to the bathroom was broken and separating, the walls and items in the room were covered with mystery stains and scuffs (one looked like a glob of bloody mucus), and to top it off, a dead roach was in the picture frame! When I contacted them about a refund, I was offered “Wyndham rewards points”. I will never use these and told them flat out I’d like my money back. Since saying that I have not received a reply so here I am leaving a review! Stay away if you value you and your family’s health. And that goes for all Wyndham owned hotels.

This is the place to stay in the Madison area for people, who, like a more homey, feel to the room and their surroundings. Although about 10 minutes or so, from Madison, everything is with an easy access, and very much worth a short drive to Stoughton. The people here are wonderful, kind, and very helpful. Having lived in this area for many years, and for the first time, having to stay in a hotel, the level of courtesy really stands out now. You look out and there’s green grass and trees and nice homes and people walking dogs instead of a noisy highway or something. Sometimes I know the traffic can’t be helped but it’s very quiet placid and I slept very well each and every night and was there for two weeks. I earn the proper amount of points and even bonus points for my additional nights. This turned out to be a premier location for me. I just love the staff there. Thank you so much everyone at Stoughton super eight Wyndham.

Clean beds were the only positive at this property. Walls were covered in scuffs and had cobwebs in the corners. We were told the pool was temporarily closed for maintenance, we found out it has been closed for over a year. This property has families who live here full time. Would not recommend unless you are really in need of a place to stay.

I don’t want to knock the staff. They were very nice and helpful. None of the following should be held against them. I hold the owners responsible. I am only writing a review to let others like myself make an actually informed decision before staying. I will say I believe they need more help. Also, the owners should think about investing in repairs and updates. The building is in sad shape and the pool has apparently been out of service for at least 8 months (I saw one review that said it hadn’t been working in October of 2022), this is not a “temporary” situation as one is led to believe on the website. It was seedy and run down and seemed a bit more like a flop house than a reputable hotel. The beds were comfortable (too tall for a short, arthritic person, but that is not their fault) and the bed linens were clean. The AC ‘worked’, the light in the bathroom did not so we had to use the heating lamp (a nightmare in June to be sure). The room smelled very bad (I have a feeling it was mildew because the room also felt dank) and we had to use air fresheners to make it livable. The pictures on the website looked good. Wyndham should be ashamed for promoting such a bait and switch situation.
