戈拉法爾加酒店(Hôtel Graffalgar)

Alles bestens! Tolles Hotel, immer wieder gerne!

Central hotel close to train station. Rooms are clean, practical and artistic. The bad is that Toilet paper is of really bad quality and same with the shampoo/shower gel. Reception is stated to close at 20:00 and that you are supposed to contact them in advance if arrive later, but I arrived after midnight and could check-in and the reception was also staffed when I came back from dinner the next day.

This was the absolute most perfect wonderful hotel. The room was spotless, well situated with a little cove that had a bunk bed for the children that had a pocket door so we could have the kids sleep while we were doing other things like planning activities or reading. The staff was friendly. The hotel was perfectly located with a 2 minute walk to the train station and a 5 minute walk to the shops and restaurants. There were also shops restaurants and markets all around. We loved this place so much my 9 year old plans to move to move to Strasbourg and try to live at Hotel Graffalgar. Wonderful experience in a glorious city!

Arrivé de la gare, l'Hôtel est facilement accessible et à proximité: c'est un atout considérable. L'apparence extérieure est plus agréable que la concurrence, bien plus que celle chaînes aseptisées. Le concept est intéressant, l'hôtel étant accolé au restaurant. L'accueil est correct, l'hôtel bien situé dans la ville. Pour ce qui est de la déco, elle est intéressante, sauf pour la chambre que j'ai réservé (rien d'exceptionnel). La pièce n'avait rien de très particulier, agrémentée d'un mobilier sommaire. Ainsi, je n'ai pu vérifier les trois étoiles (bien qu'ayant entendu le réceptionniste s'adresser en langue étrangère) en terme de confort/aisance. Le prix est relativement haut en la période du marché de Noël mais cela va de pair avec la concurrence et le classement étoile. A titre personnel, la fermeture magnétique des portes par carte me répugne mais c'est dans l'ère du temps. L'avis est donc plutôt positif, en sachant qu'il ne s'agit d'une expérience que d'une nuit

Que ce soit au téléphone, la veille de mon séjour express, ou à la réception, j'ai été très bien renseigné et accueilli. La petite chambre que j'avais réservée pour une nuit était propre, confortable et fonctionnelle. Quant à l'ambiance "industrialo-graffesque", c'est original et coloré. L'hôtel est par ailleurs très bien situé, à deux pas de la gare, et pourtant, j'ai passé une nuit bien au calme. Seul regret, être parti trop tôt le matin pour découvrir et déguster le petit-déjeuner, servi à partir de 7 heures... Dommage ! Mais ce n'est sans doute que partie remise ! Merci à vos équipes, aussi bien au front-office qu'au nettoyage, de rendre cet endroit si sympathique et chaleureux !

Very lovely little place which has been decorated internally in a very ‘alternative’ style by local artists but I really liked it as it was slightly out of the ordinary! Comfortable yes and with a decent breakfast to start the day off and certainly the staff were very helpful. Strasbourg is a very lovely city and the hotel was within easy reach (10 mins walk maximum) of the SNCF Gare in Strasbourg. I would certainly stay here again and there were plenty of local places to eat and drink.

The hotel is centrally located, the room decoration is nice and spacious, the linens were clean, but the bed mattress pad was stained, the bed was not very comfortable, the room was cold, there were not enough cloth hangers, there was no safe-lock in the room.

So unglaublich viele Graffities hab ich noch in keinem Hotel gesehen, vom Erdgeschoss bis unter das Dach, überall und so schön, jedes Zimmer von einem anderen Künstler gestaltet und nicht nur ein einziges Graffiti sondern tatsächlich jede Wand und Tür im Zimmer, die bemalbar ist. Ich hatte ein kleines Dachgeschosszimmer (410), wunderbar illustriert vom 'Roi des Ballons', sehr gut für 1 Nacht, alles da, was man benötigt, tip-top sauber. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, die Lage ist ideal - ca 3 min zum Bahnhof, vielleicht 5 min nach 'La Petite France', einfach ideal. Sehr gutes Frühstück in der Graffateria, für jeden Geschmack etwas vorhanden.

Wonderful staff. Hotel was clean and beds were ok. However The air conditioning was “broken” for entire hotel. My guess is that it wasn’t turned on this June 10. My sons room on the 4th floor was over 95 deg. Leaving windows open exposed us to very loud cafe below and bugs flying in. While I grew up without air con I didn’t realize I’d be roughing it here.
