Family friendly accommodation overlooking Lake Bernard. Room offer an ensuite bathroom with shower, 2 beds , tv , coffee maker and a basic decor. There are few restaurants next door and the property offers kayaks and paddle boats. Good location for those heading to Algonquin West Gate.

I grew up in this area and was looking forward to returning to the area. Upon arrival I was extremely satisfied with my room until I realized the television didn’t work. Then when I woke up the next day, the pipes were frozen. When I returned, my power was out! I went to speak to the front desk only to find no solution for me (I needed a shower after playing hockey and they didn’t have anywhere for me to shower) but then, right in front of my eyes, they gave a key to a different room to three ladies who were also complaining about no power. So I was left to sit and wait until all three finished their showers before I was able to go and finally be clean. Not impressed is an understatement.

I will definitely be back in summer! The owner was quite attentive, and my son raved about the gym facilities. I would have loved to try the pool but understand it was not the right season during our stay.

was a hell hole ,cold, trim falling off and smelled bad of smoke , so bad we left a day early as my partner could not stand the smell thanks save

When I got there I checked in. My room didn't have a number on the outside door to go into my room so I couldn't find it. When I did find the room it was pleasant and clean. Very nice. My problem was up stairs neighbors. All night boom boom boom with the feet. Talk talk talk all night. Yes I could hear them. It sounded like a bowling alley all night. I didn't get much sleep. When I complained the first day to the owner he said something about cleaning the place??? WHAT? The second night at 2 am I packed and left. Nothing was taken care of at all. I also went there for the pool, nope wasn't open. sigh Anyway, Lessons learned.

the room smells funny /no one cleans under the bed/and it sounded like a generator was running all night.

Book a lake view suite will not disappoint !! Friendly staff! Quick check in! Convenient location!!

We srayed in cabin by the water, it was nice to be so close and to be able to use the canoe and paddle boats anytime. You are right beside lions park which is great. The room has working AC, its fine for a couple and child, i know where not in the big city here so i understand what to expect. The lake was great! Clear water and a sandy bottom which was a nice surprise!

The staff were very professional and courteous!!
