Lovely little village pub with lots of character. Rooms are tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Stayed for 2 nights and would definitely recommend the breakfast. Also had an evening meal which was really nice. Overall a good find.

My Wife and I have been coming here on and off for over thirty years and I can honestly say that we have never had a bad meal. We visited recently for lunch and the food was again excellent, as were the staff. Excellent value for money as well, I can't recommend this place enough.

Had been on there web page to have a look at the menu that states 2 courses for £15.95 before booking as this seemed reasonable. However once seated and presented with the menu the price was £22 + for the same deal. Did not want to cause upset as my family had been looking forward to this but that’s quite an increase and would not have booked at this price. The food was ok but not with the money. A shame I won’t be back .

My partner and I have just stayed for only one night and we couldn’t recommend The Bull’s Head enough. We were warmly greeted by Dave and his staff on arrival and shown to our room. The room was excellent and well provided for our stay. Breakfast was fantastic. Our next visit when meeting family around will definitely include staying here.

Lovely old pub in a great location. Parking right outside, comfy rooms, excellent food and drink, good free wifi. David and his team made us very welcome. Recommend you book table if eating or drinking as gets very busy. Good price for a good nights sleep. Four of us stayed for one night after family gathering in the afternoon a few miles from here. Best cooked breakfast for ages. Recommended.

I have now stayed here three times and on each occasion my experience has been excellent! The two different rooms I have experienced on the three visits have been lovely clean and comfortable. The food is excellent good home made in most cases and plenty of it ! The real ale is kept really well and the wine list is really well chosen. All this said places like this need good people and the Bulls Head has this covered also everybody I had any interaction with were excellent! Pub hotels like this deserve to get through this economic storm approaching and with the quality and service The Bulls Head serve up I’m sure they will survive! Well done everybody at the Bull I will see you again very soon! Phil
