Our second time staying at the Rodeway Inn & Suites on the River in Cherokee. Location is GREAT! Short distance to the ****** and lots of restaurants, even a Food Lion. Rooms face a mountain stream and are very private. Only downside was that our room smelled of pot from someone smoking on their balcony, several times during the day and once even in the middle of the night.

The stay was quiet and peaceful. Could use some updating in rooms. But wasn’t disappointed. Check-in person didn’t have friendly personality. Very soft spoken. I stayed 2 days and the cleaner didn’t come by to pick up the trash or exchange dirty towels with clean ones. Maybe give them 4 stars.

Property advertising breakfast and has a breakfast bar but no food and was placed in the entry way staying breakfast for guest. The hotel does need a remodel inside and definitely outside.

The property could use some updates but overall their grade was 100 and our room was clean. The front desk was nice. Overall the stay was quiet and we didnt have any issues.

The room was pretty old but very clean. One of the staff seem to be very cold but I didn’t come here to make friends lol. This is a good property to relax after a long days hike and wake up the next morning looking at the stream sipping coffee. This is not the place for family vacation with kids or that kinda stuff. I would recommend this to my hiker friends.
