Tolle Unterkunft, mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Der Besitzer ist sehr sympathisch und gibt tolle Tips für Restaurants usw. Die Umgebung hat uns gut gefallen, besonders Swansboro. Wir konnten wählen, was wir frühstücken wollten. Die Sachen wurden bereitgestellt.

I took my mom to The White House on Freedom Way for her 81st birthday. She had an awesome visit. Robbie, the host, picked fresh flowers for her and got her cupcakes and a balloon! Mom enjoyed this immensely. I enjoyed the antique furniture and decor --- and talking to Robbie. Nice and informed guy. I would highly recommend this place. Roosters and guineas roam the grounds, along with a few cats. Great porches and gazebos as well. Very close to Swansboro

Loved the home atmosphere and the country setting with chickens and cats. Very relaxing place to stay and would recommend this to anyone. The bed was soft and comfortable and so were the pillows and the price was within my pocketbook

Quaint place. comfortable bed. very clean. very personable people. great kitchen. if you're looking for a home away from home this is your place! close to many restaurants and grocery stores. close to historic Swansboro

This property is a short jaunt to my family's place in Stella, town nearby. I pulled in a bit later than the typical check in time (driving Boston to North Carolina was a bit longer than expected) and was greeted by the barn cats. After walking the property for a few (and taking more than a few pictures) I called Robert, the property manager, and was lead through the ins and outs of the property. I had been upgraded to the "Zen Suite" and it was very cozy, lots of activities and things to do. I exceptionally enjoyed the shower, which features a rainfall style water head and great water pressure. The bed was comfortable, plenty of extra pillows available if needed (I didn't, but when with my wife it's a common need) The location is just a short drive to Swansboro, plenty of shopping and food options, not more than a mile away. This is a great property, and the ownership is fantastic and can't wait to return this summer if it's in the cards

The property and rooms are immaculately kept. The rooms on the first floor have their own entrance. The kitchen has everything that is needed. Additionally, the host is very responsive and accommodating. My favorite spot was the porch off our room. Having grounds to roam around with the chickens was amazing also. Finally, location is perfect between Swansboro and Jacksonville.

This was the best place I’ve stayed at in eons! It was warm and welcoming. It was lit up beautifully for the holidays which I enjoyed. I actually bailed on a noisy Thanksgiving party early just so I could go back to this peaceful place. And the price is perfect. If you’ll be anywhere near the area, I’m talking within a 45 minute drive, choose The White House for your stay. It’s well worth the drive.

Great spot near Swansboro/ Jacksonville. Good value, very comfortable bedroom and semi private living room with kitchen shared with other guests. Lots of thoughtful details like the donuts, fresh eggs from the resident chickens, home canned apples and more that were a delight. The host is also very accommodating. Highly recommend over typical hotel alternatives.

Personable, private and very friendly. Private entrances, kitchen is fully equipped if you choose to use it. This place is very relaxing and beautiful. Close to shopping and places to see. Robbie and Jeremy are there if needed but give you your time alone if wanted. There is common areas if you would like to use them and get to know others that are visiting. I was there visiting my daughter and she also was welcomed. I would highly recommend the Whitehouse to anyone. I definitely enjoyed staying there over a hotel room anyway. Hoping to go back again and bring my husband.

I just loved it! So different from our home - a true get-a- way. Robbie, our host , was wonderful. Our room was very clean and the coffee, great! We will come again. I would love to see the grounds in the spring!

The White House and its owner's was A pleasant surprise for A sparatic escape from my life for A couple nights. Extremely comfortable, feels like home,safe,clean,welcoming and very cozy. Great location and very affordable. I highly recommend making your own escape and experience it yourself! Robbie is literally the best! Totally accommodating

The owner is kind and very knowledgeable regarding the local area. Totally affordable and excellent accommodations. Beach is close and food is superb. I would go back and recommend this place. Thanks for a great stay!

My stay at The White House was beyond stellar. What a wonderful change from the typical impersonal hotel stay. Quaint is an understatement. It was warm and welcoming just like the proprietor, Robby. Highly recommend for those looking for something different and so much nicer than the usual experience.

Such a sweet place to stay, so peaceful and homey! The beds were comfortable and I loved having the whole second floor for our use. Lots of fun decor to look at and the cats and chickens were a hoot! We will definitely be coming back whenever we need a place to stay in Swansboro!
