STAFF: Zara Tower has an incredible team of dedicated staff who genuinely put the customer first in all aspects of your stay. My sister and I touched down in Sydney at 7.30am with only 2 hours sleep the night before and so when I landed I called the front desk to see if we could drop our bags at the hotel, the receptionist did one better and reorganised the hotel room lineup so that we could get into our room early for 8am!! This type of initiative is GOLD when it comes to Sydney accommodation spots… so hard to find!! 🤣 The cleaning staff were courteous and thorough in their efforts with our room. THE ROOM: We stayed in the Sky Room with bath and it was one of the nicest rooms I have stayed in across Sydney (which is saying something as a very frequent Sydney visitor)! The staff have a PILLOW MENU for the ultimate best night sleep possible! The bed is incredibly comfortable and incredibly clean. The bathroom was spotless and had a large display of ammenities. The view was pleasant, looking over skyscrapers and big bright blue skylines. The tv was retractable off the wall making a movie night in bed super easy and relaxing. LOCATION: Zara towers is a 5/6 minute walk from museum station and 8 minute walk from Chinatown tram stop. For us to get to Westfield or any of the main shops along Pitt or George street it was only a 8 minute walk to the tram and a short 5 minute tram ride towards The Rocks! Super convenient and easy!! LOBBY: The lobby is clean and beautifully furnished. In previous Sydney hotels I have been to, the hotel lobby has stank of cigarettes or fumes but this lobby was incredibly clean and well polished. OVERALL: I was incredibly satisfied with my stay and will 10000% be coming back again every time I come back to Sydney without any hesitation!

Noisy, plain, and tired. Luxury? I've found more luxury in rural South Australia than here. Firstly my room was noisy - Really noisy - mainly from car noise from the Eastern Distributor which runs right in front of it. Clearly this is a known issue as they provide earplugs with a little apology (see pic). The fittings are old, the light switches, the bedside clock / radio. There is not a single USB charging port anywhere that I could find. There was a random cheap Bunnings power board hanging out underneath the bedside table. The shower head was loose and sprayed water everywhere while having a shower. I asked for it to be fixed, which it was by the time I returned, but do you think they replaced the saturated bath matt which I had to use to mop up the water? No, of course they didnt. Older people, be warned. The shampoo/conditioner provided have such fine writing that anyone needing more than +1 reading glasses need to find them to figure out which is which- ideally before stepping in the shower. And then need to find them again to figure out how to peel off the completely unnecessary silver seal ... The bed barley fitted between the wall and it was a squeeze to get in the LHS. No late night food nor drink options in or near the hotel. There are a few breakfast options. Probably my own fault for not checking that out.

4 night stay for Vivid. Chose this as an Accor member and that it was close to the Harbour. Upgraded to a Prestige Suite, Club benefits and was not disappointed. Yes the building is not new, it’s not like the shiny new hotels in town, but it’s solid and my sleeps were uninterrupted and rarely heard noise from the hall. My Suite 930 was spacious, clean, well appointed, Sofitel Bed topper and electric sockets to plug in my adapters to charge. Like other reviews no USB ports but I’m sure most sensible travellers have an adapter. The Club Sofitel access was the perfect addition. Early check-in and waited with a hot tea while my suite was made up. It was 9:30am but the room was rushed and 30 minutes later I was unpacking. Evening canapés and drinks from 5:30pm. Table drink service by Alley and her dedicated, personable, attentive team. They remember your preferences pretty quickly and it became an oasis from Vivid hoping and sightseeing. My suite completely blocked out the light and slept through 2 alarms, it’s the Sofitel Bed topper. Breakfast at Club Sofitel, peaceful, plenty of options to choose from, salmon and capers to a great gluten free station, eggs cooked to order and a great way to start the day. Try the Dilmah Blood Orange and Eucalyptus tea. Thanks Lara. Afternoon Tea served from 2:30 and daily sandwiches , scones, cakes and complimentary drinks, tea, coffee and soft. On entering the Club Lounge, always a friendly greeting, your preferred drink served and a relaxing space anytime of the day. The Club team really made my stay, they work really hard to make your stay great. Housekeeping always made up my room before my afternoon return. Always a Bonjour as you walked past them in the hall. My stay was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Lobby is grand and the history of this hotel makes her great. Not the newest but I prefer tradition and good honest service. Definitely not the style of hotel for everyone but my expectations were met and exceeded beyond imagination. Club Sofitel is a must. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

OH! Firstly it is important to note that we chose Oxford House because of its close proximity to St Vincent Hospital. We would normally chose a large chain hotel with the added comforts because, well, who doesn’t like the nicer things when they travel. Oxford house is definitely not your average hotel. Its boutique, artsy, personal feel is felt throughout the entire property. From the second you enter Oxford House, no matter who is at the reception desk, you can guarantee your greeting will be warm and welcoming from the very first encounter. Any interaction with staff thereafter is as warm, friendly and genuinely caring. I read reviews (as you do) prior to our stay and a lot referred to the level of customer service. I, personally like nice linen, a comfortable bed, a good pillow, a pool, view. You know, that sort of thing. Oxford House ticked all my boxes above but it also ticked a box that wasn’t super important prior to this stay. It’s all about the customer service. We loved all the staff but our absolute favourite ladies were Carla and Alisha. Nothing was an effort for Carla and let me tell you, she’s got the skills to get things done. Our trip was complicated with hospital trips several times a day and we were filled with emotion and exhausted . Walking back through those doors of an evening, almost felt like home. Carla was particularly lovely and my 10 year old daughter adored her. By the time we left I felt like I had made a friend. Hotel was wonderful but Carla brought it up that extra level.

We were unlucky with the room . It was too small for a couple . We could not even have our cases opened on the floor as we will trip over. Small bed too and small bathroom. Impossible for two people in at same time . No shower gel in the shower for 2 days we were there. We mentioned when we left but did not complained assuming rooms were small… Location is good. Very friendly staff in reception and lovely breakfast in the caffe in the building.

We stayed here for 4 nights in May 2022 and what a calamity of an experience. It even begun before we landed in Sydney with them cancelling our booking due to a water leak in the room they allocated to us. After trying to find alternative accommodation at the last minute we were then advised all was OK. The greeting when we arrived was good and we were shown our room located directly behind the communal kitchen (room 1). Apparently they supplied a continental breakfast each morning with bakery items, cereals, orange juice, coffee but you wouldn't know it because only on one morning of the four we were there we were greeted with leftover crumbs or one lonely croissant. On one morning there was even no milk, coffee or orange juice at all. This place does not have a manned reception which I have no issue with but each time we went downstairs to the bar to ask a question we were treated with distain from the girls working there. The room was spacey but just really poor hygiene and basic....very basic. Then to top it off on our final night the vanity in the bathroom fell off the wall and onto me throwing out all our toiletries and leaving me with a heavy bang on the head. They couldn't fix the problem and instead arranged alternate accommodation at another hotel so we had to pack up our bags and relocate unexpectedly. By the time we got to the other hotel it was 11:15pm and we had to leave the following morning. They didn't even offer us any compensation or at the very least a breakfast voucher considering we had only managed to get something to eat on 1 of the 4 mornings we were there. Just really poor service with little regard to how it impacted us. NEVER AGAIN.

從哪裏開始呢。。我和我男朋友在這家旅舍呆了一個星期。讀了評論後,我們非常興奮地來到這家旅舍,因爲它看起來是這個地方。最肯定不是。我們感覺自己被魚咬了,這家旅舍很小,像很小一樣。我們嘗試在廚房做飯一次,再也不嘗試了,廚房很小。我知道,如果這是一間小旅舍,你的廚房不需要很大,但是廚房非常小,每個人都在上面,而且烤箱甚至不能工作,簡直就像一個狹窄的走廊。還有...網上照片顯示有一間有檯球桌的房間,另一間有電視的房間等等,都擠在一個房間,是我住過的最差的旅舍。雖然,這個旅舍最差的地方就是它的位置,但似乎沒有人提到過這個事實,那就是在大街上,到處都是無家可歸的人,他們臉上總是帶着毒品,我是說,到處都是。我們倆都覺得走在街上很不安全,很不安,我從來沒見過這樣的事,我們來自利茲,所以說有話要說,所以如果你打算去悉尼,我強烈建議你完全不要去國王十字區。

我在莊園大廈酒店住了一晚,這是一次不愉快的住宿,幾乎毀了我在悉尼的計劃休息時間。我們在莊園大廈酒店預訂了一個房間,房間裏的加熱器壞了。我們通知了接待處,值班女士來檢查它打開。AC/逆變器有故障,從未給冷房取暖!我們打電話給接待處提供的服務號碼,並被告知要等到第二天。我們第二天退房,從未接到酒店電話。管理差!服務差!非常不滿意的客人體驗!我們再也不會在那裏定食物,所以朋友也不會!我期待我的住宿退款,因爲它不值得!!!!

這是一個兩室一廳，還有廚房、洗衣設施的住宿，兩個卧室一個大牀，一個雙人牀。廚房裡有鍋碗杯盤勺叉，還有烤麵包機洗碗機電磁爐，對於在澳洲不能帶中國食物入境的我們簡直是太好了。我們在附近超市買了麵條，雞蛋，然後自己烹飪，早餐真是太給力了。不過酒店不提供牙膏牙刷和一次性拖鞋，衹提供洗髮沐浴用品。還有這裏離市中心很近，公交車5、6站到town hall，周圍500米有Woolworth，缺點是浴室的門不太好移動，洗澡時水會忽冷忽熱，而且你要是不用掉洗浴用品，即使衹剩一點點，它第二天也不會給你添加新的。
