湯頓東普瑞米爾酒店(Premier Inn Taunton East)

Stayed for 2 nights staff were amazing. They were so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The room was clean and all the cleaners spoke both mornings. The reception lady help me out to the taxi with my bags when I left. The restaurant was ok but I only had breakfast there.

I would recommend this hotel to all, great prices , great rooms, great food next door, amazing staff, Get the great deal on breakfast and dinner , I missed out and didn’t see it until after I paid for dinner silly me, The staff made this stay fabulous from the first minute and it really makes a difference if you have nice friendly people to great you.. Thank you all very much.

Reception experience was good and efficient. Room very clean and everything worked. A little chilly but once in bed was ok. Lovely blackout curtains. Very comfortable bed and lots of pillows. Plenty of extra milk coffee etc available in dispenser in reception. Would stay again.

I wanted to book breakfast yesterday for myself and my family. I went to reception to book it and the receptionist who was on duty said I would be better off just going over to the restaurant as it would take her 3 different systems to book a table. I turned around and said well I’d rather book in case it’s busy and I got the response back saying it’s not busy. I wasn’t happy with how I was fobbed off by complete laziness.

Well this is a good start turned up at this place knowing that I had informed them 2 days before we would be turning up early only to be told to wait out side for half an hour because our room wasn’t ready which will be 13.15 and they still want the £10 out of us and the attitude of receptionist wasn’t very professional either will add more once we r in the room

What lets this hotel down is the beefeater where something that resembles a breakfast is produced. The staff behind the server look like they need a good wash. Scruffy and very rude. Bringing food to the hot plate then throwing it on the server and banging around. It you don’t want to take pride in your job then leave simples. The bar in the evening, well what can I say, the sign states the bar will close at 10. It doesn’t. It closes when staff want it to. Rude bar staff, and one in particular tried to get confrontational. Silly girl. Names taken will report you all. Go away and learn some customer service skills 🙄

where do I start, room carpet was dirty, heating provided in room not working, oil filled radiator left in room to heat it. To top it all receptionist overcharged us for meal deal awaiting refund, to sum it up avoid this Hotel at all cost !

Minutes from the motorway And minutes from Taunton town centre for food drinks etc We visited several Indian restaurants The local Wetherspoons Harvester Pubs cafes the beefeater next to the hotel Very enjoyable

The good: close to Taunton, receptionist was pleasant. The bad: bathroom uncared for (see pics), very poor breakfast, grubby appearance, felt unclean, low choice self service and nothing hot appeared available for vegetarians. The worst thing was being shouted at by the “chef” because I used the wrong utensil to pick up an egg and he was very upset that he would have to wash it again for people with egg intolerance (I wasn’t aware of this). His reaction was completely over the top, aggressive and intimidating. It’s not the standard I would expect from this chain which is usually good.
