I stayed at Hotel Grand Palace Tbilisi during my visit to Tbilisi in January. Overall, my experience was a mix of positive and negative aspects. While the hotel had its advantages, such as a welcoming reception, spacious rooms, stunning views, and a convenient location near the city center, the lack of cleanliness, especially regarding the bed linen, left me disappointed. Let's start with the positives. The reception at Hotel Grand Palace was truly great and welcoming. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and efficient in handling check-in and other inquiries. Their warm and professional approach created a welcoming atmosphere, which was a great way to start my stay. The rooms were spacious and well-designed. It was a relief to have ample space to move around and store my belongings comfortably. The furnishings were tasteful, and the large windows offered great views of the surrounding cityscape. Waking up to such a picturesque scene was definitely a highlight of my stay. Additionally, the hotel's location was incredibly convenient. Being close to the city center meant that I had easy access to various attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. It saved me a lot of time and effort in commuting, allowing me to make the most of my visit to the city. Regrettably, the cleanliness issue significantly impacted my impression of Hotel Grand Palace. The most concerning aspect was the condition of the bed linen. Upon closer inspection, I discovered numerous hairs from previous guests scattered across the sheets. This lack of attention to detail was disheartening and, frankly, quite off-putting. A clean and fresh bed is essential for a comfortable stay, and the presence of hair from previous stayers was undeniably unpleasant. While I understand that housekeeping can sometimes overlook minor details, such as stray hairs, hotels need to maintain a high standard of cleanliness, especially when it comes to bedding. This particular issue greatly affected my overall comfort and made me question the hotel's commitment to cleanliness. I hope the hotel takes steps to improve its housekeeping practices to ensure a more hygienic and enjoyable experience for future guests.

Torn towel, decaying furniture, arrogant manager, far from city centre not recommended for families. The hotel ambience seems to be exaggerated. Reception staffs are not receptive. The doors seems fragile. No sound proof. You can hear other room guest night gossip. Not recommended at all.

So, first of all, i should say that i'm rating this hotel as 1 only because of friendly and helpful hotel staff. If not for them, this would be 0 out of 5. 1) NO heating in middle of november, only air conditioner, which was NOT working. They tried to move me to the other room, but again, AC was not working in this room either. Then they asked me to move to lux room with 2 AC's... but guess what? Both of them were not working. After that they asked me if i want to move to other hotel nearby and i refused, because i was already sick of moving my staff from one place to another. So yeah, sleeping with clothes on in middle of november and still feeling cold... Some homeless man experience for the price of 3 star hotel. 2) "Anywhere the wind blows..." - does really matter, my friends. Whole building was shaking when wind was blowing. And remember that hotel is located on the hill, so this noize and shaking was permanent. Good luck trying to sleep while your windows are trembling, and the wind whistles blast into your ears. If you want to experience living in ******* old house - go there. 10/10. 3) Bedsheets and towels. I'm not really picky one when it comes to that part. But man, how can fresh towels and bedsheets smell... like MOLD. Better bring your own washing powder. 4) I thought breakfast was kinda good (i'm not picky eater)... But 2h after breakfast... As a person who can eat barely anything and don't even get a light indigestion i should say that this food was not good at all. 5) Internet. The way they located internet routers is hillarious. It's only working near your door. So best way to use it, just put your chair right in front of the door. Nice. 6) Talking about doors... They were thin as a paper, so i can hear people talking on 1st floor while being in my room at 4th floor. I can even say "bless you" when someone sneezes and they will hear me wherever they are. Connecting with strangers - 10/10. I left this place after staying here for one day. Maybe AC's are fixed now, but they need to rebuild the whole hotel in order to just get on the 2 star level. Never coming back, even if it's free.

They are welcoming and very friendly. The rooms, lobby and restaurant are perfectly clean. This hotel has great staff! Levani and Giorgi, The bellboys took care of my luggage and offered assistance to check my taxi, paid me a bottle of water cause I had no cash on me. The old man at the reception also, he don't speak much English but has good positive energy. Will definitely recommend to anyone

The Hotel staff does not know the concept of customer service. In our last night, they missed to put one towel. But since we I'm with my wife and it's already last day, we didn't bother to complain. The next morning during checkout, the staff insisted that they provide complete set of towels causing us to almost missed our flight. We are only talking about one cheap towel and they hold us for this. How can they think of their guest will take their towel?? After waiting for almost an hour, the hotel in charge sarcastically asked u "did we tell you to wait?" The service of this hotel does not deserve even a "3 star" status.

Hotel is on really good location,the view from room is also great. However only complaint is that staff at the front desk was really weirdly rude.not evryone bt one lady... firstly she accused me of breaking the door lock which is so pointless Because as soon as we locked the door it was broken,no one carries any hammer to break the door while traveling.i tried to ignore it and concentrate on my vacation bt again this mannerless lady came to us in lobby area, started shouting infront of people nd insulting is, hotel management should atleast train there staff on how to behave and talk, whatever confusion we had with checkout timing could have been resolved happily bt no she needed to shout nd spoil our vacation. I woul not recommend this hotel at all to anyone as the staff need to learn how to behave with guest.

We liked hotel, rooms are very clean , staff are very helpful and friendly, they helped us a lot, they gave us early check-in free of charge. Regarding location, it was also ok, because it's only 5 minutes drive to old city, overall hotel was ok.

NEVER BOOK THIS HOTEL They have cancelled our bookings and informed insufficient fund in your card one before check-in, they cancelled our 6 rooms as they got mass check-in from other team, called hotel they are not ready accept they just say we can't do anything and manager is off unprofessional and unfair
