Upon arrival we were not greeted with the usual "Welcome" but " Give me the voucher for your stay!" Not a smile during the week-long stay, nor a Good Morning or a Kalimera, except from the cleaning ladies. The food was exceptionally bad. Breakfast: 4-5 cm thick slices of white bread only, greek yoghurt, hardboiled (i.e blue) eggs, not bacon but a few, 3-4 ,slices of chopped pork pressed together to look like bacon, some small sausages, cheese totally without any taste of cheese, sandwich topping, sliced sausages making the trip from kitchen fo"buffet table" day after day. The orange (?) juice tasted of mould. The food tasted of nothing, some kind of meat , pieces of chicken and some sorry-looking boiled small fish. The managing staff did not circulate in the dining room, asking if everything was alright or if we wanted anything to drink , but stood in a corner just looking stern, (controlling how much we ate?) To have some wine with the dinner, we had to go outside to the pool-bar and buy a glass. The dessert was always sliced oranges, sometimes a bowl of jelly or "panna cotta", tasting nothing . The room (called superior) was very small, 2 beds, 2 bedtables but omly 1 bedtable lamp, no chair no suitcase pallets. A dressing table, no chair), but an old fridge underneath. We did not dare to use it as it were some cracks inside the fridge and also a lack of electric socket. TV only in greek and with a very bad reception. Balcony OK but the chairs were metal ones, getting very hot and hard to sit upon. I definitely dissuade anyone from visiting this hotel, it is not worth the money! The beach was nice when few guests, and the Mediterranean was, as always, wonderful.
