Nach den vielen sehr guten Bewertungen und Bildern, waren meine Erwartungen hoch und wurden nicht erfüllt. Leider bekam ich eines von sieben Zimmern ohne Aussicht. Nur auf den Parkplatz. Also war es nur ein „einfaches“ Hotelzimmer wie viele andere auch. Keine tolle Aussicht, auf die ich mich gefreut habe. Ansonsten war es sauber und alles da, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank. Doch sehr eng das ganze Zimmer. Bei ******* konnte ich nur zwischen Queen und King Zimmer wählen, nirgends einen Hinweis auf ein Zimmer mit oder ohne Aussicht. Schade, und es war so heiß im Zimmer. Gerade nachts waren es um die 10 Grad draußen und ich musste die AC laufen lassen, ohne war es nicht zum aushalten. Hat meinem Schlaf nicht gut getan. Es waren zwei eher schreckliche Nächte. Hier werde ich nicht mehr übernachten!

No internet...very inconvenient in this day and age. When researching hotel it stated internet was provided. When we arrived (after reserving and paying) front desk began making excuses about provider and that internet was "spotty". For our entire stay we never had internet service! It was mentioned to the desk and felt we should get reduction in rate for lack of service. Desk person was a bit rude, said could not help due to 3rd party reservation and could not give cash refund because they were cashless operation. Very poor cust service. As for the room, thin walls allowed a lot of noise from next door and creaky floors echoed from above. Very weak and don't understand how others gave the ratings they did. BEWARE!

As others have mentioned, this property is a hidden gem. Great place for a great price. Rooms are clean with lots of amenities (coffee maker, microwave, fridge). Though if you are looking for a place within walking distance of downtown, this isn’t it. It’s away from the hub of town. The staff is helpful and friendly. Continental breakfast small but good options. Dining area has a fantastic view of the dam. Nice touch of a local complimentary glass of wine during check in. The main reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is the highway noise. My room was not one with a view so less noisy. If you need a good solid 8 hrs sleep, you might pack earplugs.

This hotel is a hidden gym. It is a little out-of-the-way, but very worthwhile to spend the night there. The hotel is quite old. However, the rooms have been recently remodelled and a very high modern standard. Very friendly front desk clerk, Tammy was her name. Very accommodating staff for the continental breakfast.

Place is a little out of the way but has a nice view of the river and dam. Staff was very friendly-Jenifer in the morning was very nice and seemed to go out of her way to answer questions and take care of guests.

My family and I stayed one night here which was amazingly clean and nice. I wasn't expecting a well put together room for where the motel is located. The staff was great and was willing to work with me about late check-out. I appreciated my short term stay and will be back soon. Thank you staff for making my trip easy.

Amazing views of the Dalles Dam and Cumbia River. Room was well presented with nice art on the walls, colorful bedding and well placed furniture. Very clean and comfortable.

The only thing that I would suggest would be to add some outdoor ashtrays to the property. The rooms are all no smoking, of course, but people do still smoke cigarettes. The other thing was that there wasn't a table in my room. Had to use the ironing board, laid on the bed, to play cards, and to eat my dinner.

Pleasant staff in a clean older updated property overlooking the Columbia river. The mattress was very broken down in our room and the king room had a 3/4 shower but those were my only issues.

The room although a little small was very nice. Bed was very comfortable and linens were good quality. The windows open which I love and it overlooks the dam. Breakfast was simple but good especially the mix berry syrup for the waffles. Staff friendly and helpful.

Beautiful view from room. Noisy with window open but quiet with them closed and air turned on.

Beds weee comfortable and the rooms were clean. There were a few things that needed repairs like a broken shower door and the room key mechanism. Friendly staff and great views of the river.

I really enjoyed the view from the window, can see mt.hood, look at the Columbia gorge, and then the dam, the fresh water pool is nice and refreshing.
