達爾斯旅館(The Dalles Inn)

Wow, our room was way better than I expected it to be! Looks like a Worldmark room with modern furniture and bathroom fixtures, good sized fridge, catv, new flooring and even a little Keurig machine w assorted pods! Lots of assorted pillows to select from and comfy beds. Perfection!!! A great start to our trip. Thank you!!!

Nice comfy king bed, white apeal, meaning the bedding was all white so real clean. Nice large dressing mirror. Burgerville across the way. Old town setting to explore.

Cozy little Inn. The heater heats, and the curtains can black out the apocalypse. It's got a bed that's comfy, some pillows that were a little more flat than my liking, but I made it out okay. The shower control was weird, you gotta pull and then guess where the just right temperature is. Again, I made it out okay. I recommend this place, it's at the end of the long stretch of fun stuff to do in the Dalles.

I requested a nonsmoking room and it seems like since elevator wasn’t working I was given a smoking room. I checked in late last night and immediately went to sleep. Unfortunately I woke up reeking of cigarette smoke (I’m especially sensitive to odors, but I haven’t stayed in a hotel that offered smoking rooms in years and was exhausted when I checked in so it wasn’t immediately obvious I was in a smoking room). Now, not only do I have a horrible headache but all my clothes smell like smoke too!!! If cigarette smoke doesn’t bother you and you’re fine booking one type of room and having the person at the front desk disregard your request without asking you you might have an OK stay.

I was truly impressed with our check in. The young woman helping us couldn’t have been more professional, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. On the scale of 1-10, my husband and I give her 25.

This was a very last minute stop for the evening on a road trip. We chose this hotel and while we had the absolute sweetest lady check us in, we encountered many earwigs along the hallways. That led us to spending almost 2 hours pulling apart all the bedding and checking under everything to make sure there weren’t any in the room…and thankfully there weren’t…but it had our kids all worried so it just made for a longer night than we needed & a bit more worrisome. Earwigs are harmless but it definitely makes you feel a little crawly when you really just want a clean & comfy night in. We didn’t ask for a different room or for a refund, but would have if we found any in ours.

Nice for a quick stay, wonderful staff. But key card stopped working twice and the toilet had a hard time flushing :/ nothing too major though!

The old section of the hotel was atrocious, but they moved us to the newer building without argument.

My room was clean, tidy, and the bed was comfortable. Check-in was quick and they offered yummy choc chip cookies to guests. Location was great… right in downtown Dalles so that worked out great as I was walking everywhere to check out every wall mural.
