Worst, worst and only worst…. Checked in with family in Hotel Bhutan Boutique on 19 Sept. from the time of check in all my experience were so very bad that entire holiday n stay was spoiled. 1. Nobody was on reception. 2. Very very sick check in process. 3. We ourselves had to carry the luggage in the room. 4. No AC / Fan in the room. 5. Stinking rooms and bathrooms. 6. Tasteless dinner with only one Veg n Roti.. 7. During Breakfast on both days they were short of breads and other stuff. 8. They asked for money for milk whereas it is a part of breakfast. 9. Inspite of understanding the problem they don’t react or solve. 10. They don’t care about guests. 11. Staff give so weird and angry looks as if we are here for free. 12. I have never ending list. MMT you should have not given this room to us and inspite if complaining on day first you guys have not attended / resolved it. Plz give my money back and delist this hotel. Please don’t visit this place

The hotel is in a most convenient location for tourists and provides great service and all modern amenities at a reasonable rate. But the best part about the place is its staff, who make you feel right at home and would even go out of their way to do the same. I had the most unique and precious experience of bonding with the entire hotel staff in a way that is only possible in this absolutely wonderful country. I was treated with so much care and affection, I felt downright pampered. Deeply touched by the sincere hospitality of this place. Left with a grateful heart. Highly recommended place to stay in Thimphu for all travellers.

Excellent hotel. Very courteous and helping staff. Sonamji, the Hotel manager, was very helpful and our experience was a memorable one. We asked for local cuisine and their Ema Datshi, Kewa Datshi, Suja butter tea, Beans Datshi were very memorable and super tasty. Staff Sitaji and manager Sonamji also helped my wife in wearing her Kira the proper Bhutanese way. The room was very spacious and clean with good heating facility. Kids also loved the hotel and the tasty food. The quantity they give is more than sufficient. Will recommend this hotel to all. Always ask for local bhutanese cuisine -they prepare such tasty food.

A very nice stay, we had at Bhutan Boutique Residency. Hotel is very well located with nearby market at walking distance. Rooms are very spacious and well kept. food served is very good and we enjoyed Bhutanese cuisine very much. Staff led by madam Sonam are so friendly with their personal touch. Best wishes!

Comfortable and very affordable 3-star hotel in Thimphu. Perfect for young adults and family groups who like to go out for a relaxing walk in the evening after a hectic day of traveling and sightseeing. Located 5 mins distance from the major nightspots and city centre of Thimphu. Rooms are clean, staff are polite - they have all amenities needed for a good stay. Food quality is good as well. Value for money compared to more expensive hotels nearby who provide same quality.
