We can't say enough about this place. Superb room, excellent breakfast with lots of options. All the staff are very professional and very helpful. Food in the restaurant is also very good. Free parking is right behind the hotel which is a good touch. 10/10 for The Feathers and would highly recommend to anyone.

I enjoyed my 3 day stay at The Feathers hotel. I arrived Friday afternoon, but had to park my car on the main road as there wasn't a parking space behind the hotel. I have mobility ( I have a blue badge) issues which made bringing my case and walking trolley to the hotel very difficult. I would've had to make 2 trips to ask for help from staff members.

Our room was very spacious with very high standard facilities including an amazing bathroom. Lovely and quiet. We enjoyed our breakfast and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Helmsley is a very pretty market town. Highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic location with fantastic staff. We were very lucky and got an upgrade to a Deluxe Suite so really couldn't fault the place. Parking was fine. Ate in the hotel in the evening and food was excellent as was the service. Informal friendly relaxing service. Breakfast also very good Love the idea of a flask of fresh milk for tea and coffee in your room

Excellent hotel, dining and bar. The food was great, staff helpful and our room was really nice with a cute welcome pack for our dog. The location is perfect for exploring Helmsley as well as easy access to the Cleveland way. Recommended.

The hotel is centrally located with a small car park at the back. We stayed in an annexe room which exceeded our expectations. It was large with a very comfortable bed. The good sized bathroom had a bath and a shower cubicle which were well stocked with lovely range of toiletries along with dressing gowns and slippers. The welcome tray consisted of a variety of teas, hot chocolate, sugar, coffee bags and also an espresso machine. The milk was fresh served on arrival in a chiller flasks. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. The food at dinner and breakfast was of a high standard. The only downside is if you want to pay by cash for your meal they won't give you any change so ensure you carry plenty of small change and they automatically add 10% service charge which they will remove if you ask them to. Other than that small thing the hotel is definitely worth a visit and we will be making a return visit in the near future

Very enjoyable from start to finish. Super friendly staff, great welcome on arrival. Everything needed in room but a bit small. Bar & restaurant really cosy and enjoyable

Lovely two night stay in a beautiful location. Very friendly staff providing a good service. Some parts of the hotel could do with refreshing and the room was a little too cramped but overall an excellent base for a holiday in this part of the country. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

This was our second time at the Feathers and we enjoyed it just as much if not more. The staff were all very friendly, the room was lovely and clean with all the things you need and more and the breakfast and evening meal were delicious. We will certainly be back again soon. Thank you.
