Great hotel, staff were friendly and loved the ale house bar. One thing that could be improved is the Lift speed, it is painfully slow! I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again

Have stayed a number of times at the Ripon Inn and this was another enjoyable trip. The hotel is lovely with ample parking, and superb grounds to walk in. The room was nice and clean, although a little compact - and the breakfast was absolutely superb on both days. It is a buffet rather than table service, but whilst I prefer the buffet approach I appreciate some may see this as a disadvantage. It was very quiet the nights we stayed and I suspect there were some staffing shortages - service in the bar could have been better. Dinner wasn’t brilliant - prices are cheap but maybe charge a little more for higher quality food. Well definitely be back as we really like the place - hopefully will be a bit (but not too much) busier next time

Last minute break. What a lovely place to stay. Check in was so easy using the electronic system after being welcomed. Rome was extremely clean with the biggest pillows we have ever had. Plenty of information about the surroundings and the hotel. Couldn’t fault the service in the Inn bar or the hotel bar. Though we didn’t eat in the restaurant the food we saw looked well prepared and served. Breakfast had a lot of choice and the staff were again welcoming and friendly. Special treat was free drink if you didn’t need your room serviced. Thank you every staff member you are a love team

We both enjoyed our stay but was surprised to see dogs in the bar at evening mealtimes . One of the staff seemed very reluctant to pleasantries , or any eye contact which gave the service not a comfortable or friendly feeling both my friend and I decided one night dining there was more than enough . Not a happy experience .

Brilliant hotel, very friendly staff,excellent position so close to the city centre, wirh good parking.

Overnight stay was very enjoyable . This was my second visit to Ripon Inn and look forward to returning

Lovely newly refurbished hotel. Comfy rooms some with garden views. Good buffet breakfast including continental and cooked. Evening menu interesting and varied. Came well presented and hot and very tasty. Menu including some game specialities and good vegetarian options. 5 minute walk into Ripon centre. And don't forget to see the Hornblower (Wakeman) in the square every evening at 9pm

What a fabulous Inn, newly refurbished, full of character, very clean and comfortable. The bar had a great range of drinks available, there was plenty of staff around and the food was just yummy. The adjoining Spa gardens was beautiful and the city centre was just a short walk away. We will definitely be visiting here again.

I just stayed for one night -a spur of the moment visit, and was very pleased the Inn had a free room. It was very comfortable. The extremely slow lift was slightly irritating, but a minor problem. The hotel has a very welcoming a**osphere and is in a lovely setting, the grounds are beautiful.
