Disappointing weekend in a penthouse rental appar**ent which was not clean, had the toilet - with automatkic lights - two meters from the bed giving no privacy nor freshness what so ever. Booked it via Booking where it had top reviews and parking listed as one of the things on offer. The parking is either paid on the street outside or free somewhere else. Being a rental appar**ent it comes with a kitchen with a warm fridge. Took us some good 24h to get cold drinks out of it. The smoke detector is placed opposite of the bed and blinks with a flash every minute, every hour 24/7! The toilet had some unidentified spots on the wall and so had the wall in the stair case leading up to the appar**ent. There was cobweb around the mirror by the bathroom vanity unit which comes with a mirror only suitable for people shorter than 160cm of height. Referring to it as the bathroom vanity is very generous since it is placed between the toilet door and bed. The bed was awfully hard and the sofa in the living area completely worn out. The colour scheme of clinical white naked walls is a matter of taste but for sure not ours. It looked great on paper but this had too many errors.

What an amazing and beautiful hotel! Sylvie was superb, so friendly and helpful. We were able to get on an earlier ferry and she said it was no problem to check in early. We arrived and was shown to our rooms. We had Trendy 2 and Trendy 5 (penthouse) booked. The rooms were so luxurious! You had everything you needed in rooms. Each room had a spacious living area with sofa, tv, bluetooth speaker and speedy WiFi. The kitchen had a full size fridge, oven and microwave. All plates and cutlery were provided. Even little things like ice trays and washing up liquid were provided. Bedroom had the most fantastic, large and comfy bed. Had the greatest night's sleep. Towels, bathrobes, slippers and luxury toiletries were all complimentary just like a 5 star hotel. Trendy 2 had a massive terrace area and Trendy 5 being the penthouse had a terrace over looking the beautiful town. Amazing views in the evening! It had the feeling of a luxury 5 star hotel but with the cosiness of being at home. With Sylvie's warm welcome it really does feel like a home away from home. Would highly recommend you stay here! Sylvie was a warm, friendly superb host The accommodation, and our stay in Trendy 5, exceeded all our expectations Immaculately clean, modern, and nicely furnished Sensibly priced, and great value for money Lovely little town, with plenty of choice, for restaurants and bars Really friendly local people, willing to communicate and offer any advice Visit Twins, for great food and drink, and friendly welcome. Local Italian restaurant also very good, and Micky’s Bar next to Sleutelhuys. Will definitely visit again….. Soon!

The apar**ents are so cozy and clean and very nicely furnished. We stayed in the trendy 5 penthouse which had a nice little balcony and sky lights with shades so it wasn’t too bright in the morning. Kitchen is equipped with all you need plus a tea pot. Silvi and Elka were very welcoming and helpful!

The apar**ent was amazing and the host was fantastic let us know anything we needed to know even the best parking places when we visited Brugge. Thankyou for your great hospitality.

Our stay was amazing from the communication preparation for check in and the wonderful welcome from Sylvie. She showed us around our apar**ent and how everything worked. The place was so well equipped for comfort especially the king size bed. The free parking was just a five minute walk after unloading outside the hotel so no inconvenience there. Sylvie recommended where to shop and eat in the town and a short drive away. We would definitely recommend this hotel and the town of Tielt as a perfect base to explore the Flanders region
