Filthy unclean conditions. A sweaty dirty undershirt wrapped around the smoke alarm. Dried vomit on the side of the bedspread. Was offered different room, that room had a plastic bag tied around the smoke alarm and what appeared to be smears of feces in the bathroom. A third room was shown to me, and seemed adequate at first glance but after getting my young son and I resettled, discovered some bug parts on the floor, old bits of food on and under the desk and a piece of rodent feces on the rug just outside the bathroom. In addition, the bedsheets were stained with God knows what, so I slept on top of the covers fully clothed. I complained and demanded a refund for the second night, as I was not going to stay the entire weekend there. The manager was not in the least sorry for my experience, told me I could just leave immediately and he would only charge me one night out of the two (I had pre paid for two). I was not about to go driving around a strange town late at night with my son looking for an alternative place to stay. I agreed to finish the night there, pay for the night I used, and wanted to be refunded for the second night as we would be checking out immediately in the morning. This request was refused. I have an official complaint in to Wyndham Resorts to inform them of this. OUTRAGEOUS that I paid two nights, stayed one night (and wish I hadn't), had our entire holiday weekend plans RUINED bc there was no way to get another place with short notice. DISGUSTING!!!
