河畔小屋酒店(Riviera Lodge Hotel)

Hotel was amazing, room was very clean and had everything you could possibly need there. Hosts were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. We made a use of hot tub and swimming pool which was definitely a great addition to everything else. Breakfast was great too. I cannot fault anything, so definitely recommend this place for a lovely stay. Thank you for your hospitality.

This is simply a really good hotel. It is in a nice quiet area but well placed, situated between the train station and the harbour. John and Nicki are both charming and wonderfully helpful. Tip. Ask John about the nearby walk to one of the most idyllic little villages in the country. It is Tolkienesque with a great pub that serves good food. A real gem and lots to explore.

A lovely warm welcome awaits you at this wonderful hotel. It is absolutely spotlessly clean. There are so many thoughtful touches and extras that you instantly feel at home. Beds were comfortable and room well equipped. We really appreciated the bottle of water in the room. Room was quiet and the hotel was in a great location for both the seafront and town centre. The hot tub was divine and John spent time showing us how to work all the jets. The garden and pool area are just lovely. A very good choice for breakfast and it was all cooked well with good service. We were only here for 2 nights but really enjoyed a very comfortable stay. Our only suggestion would be to consider black out blinds in the bedrooms as the light did wake me quite early. (Although it was lovely to see some sun!) Plenty of local restaurants etc.. near to the hotel and John and Nicki spent time helping us with recommendations. We definitely hope to return to this little gem run by really lovely hosts.

Fully recommend this place for a break away from home,really nice garden and swimming pool, John the owner always going extra mile to make you feel like home. Beautiful fresh cooked breakfast included, nice variety of beverages as well,relaxing area by the pool to read or enjoy few drinks in pace and quiet

Overall this is probably one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Nothing was too much and we enjoyed our stay that much so, that we extended our stay for another two nights. Very clean. Breakfast was provided with a large variety to choose from. Bar area was nice, had a pool table and liked the personal touch that there were packs of cards/dominos for guests to use as well. Pool area was lovely and we used the hot tub which was great too. It was sanitised between uses. The only negative was the room we were moved to for the final night was very small compared to our previous room. They did ask if we would like to view the room and we did say no. I just felt that as the rooms were the same price, they were very different in size. The room on the last night also got very, very warm. However, we had a great stay overall and the hotel was in a desirable location also. We would definitely consider going back again!

Are these photographs from your rooms !!!!! truth hurts I know what I experienced water dripping through the ceilings horrible damp smells fungus you need to have a experience manager to deal with this because standards are disgraceful,

This was our 3rd visit, but the first under the current owners. Everything was superb. The garden with pool and hot tub is the 'jewel in the crown'. Great room, very clean, comfortable and with all facilities. Excellent quality breakfast. Lovely hosts, very friendly and helpful, and very pleasant bar/lounge area. Private car park, and very handy location, although, it is up a hill. Roll on visit number 4.

The hotel was superb, owners very friendly, nothing too much trouble. Hotel is spotless. Bar area cozy and friendly, even served us an ice-cream in the evening 😁. Pool area lovely. Lovely breakfast, all staff very polite. Can't recommend this hotel enough.
