奧斯本酒店(The Osborne Hotel)

Superb building in a perfect location for us. We were in a room with a wonderful sea view to wake up to every morning. Breakfast was a very high quality and gave us a great start to the day. Overall the hotel is very clean and every facility will used appears to be maintained to a good standard. Our room was very spacious compared to many other hotels rooms I have stayed in. The bathroom was definitely larger than average and included a good size shower, with plenty of hot water at a good pressure. Even when the other taps were used, the shower seemed to carry on totally unaffected. A couple of small details that would have improved our stay. A working lift, during our visit it was out of order. But this didn't spoil our stay. The other detail would be a small stool ( or similar) in the bathroom. All staff came across as friendly, approachable and helpful, they all seemed keen to ensure that we enjoyed our stay at The Osborne. We took a walk around some of the grounds which all appeared to be very well maintained. We also walked out of the grounds and across the bay at Meadfoot, its a great location to stroll and enjoy the fresh sea air. Would we stay here again? Definitely, we have already discussed our next visit.

Great location close to the beach and slightly out of town, but within walking distance. Hotel was clean and modern. However, the room could be improved, (Waldren) the bed matress was just okay/not the best and waste in bathroom took time to run away. Also windows were fidily to keep open, and wallpaper was coming off in some places. Plastic drinking water cups in room should be glass to be more eco friendly. Not a bad room but for £150pn could be better.

My stay was lovely, we stayed in a junior suite with amazing Seaview had a couple of cobwebs and the furniture was slightly worn but loved the room. The swimming pool and Sauna was dated but had a nice swim. Breakfast was amazing, staff very helpful all in all amazing place to stay xx

Amazing sea view, this area of Torquay is like the South of France when the suns out. Pine trees, beach, amazing hotel terrace and pool. Hotel has a good gym, junior suite was amazing and well priced. Will deffo be going back!

We stayed in an economy double room and considering it was an economy room it was spacious enough for one night and comfortable. The room had everything you needed. This is the second time staying here and would definitely stay again. Had dinner in the restaurant which was very good. The reception and restaurant staff were very efficient and friendly. We didn’t used the pool or gym as not there long enough. The hotel is in a lovely position overlooking the sea.

Amazing location. Hotel was clean and tidy. Perfect place to stay as a romantic break. Would not pay for breakfast again. Disappointing.

On arrival we were greeted by a young lady who was on the miserable side, not what I was expecting for a 4 star hotel. We paid £150 for the room which was at the top end but given a room with no view, hard beds and noisy. There were kids running about above us for hours, then an all night party below us making sleep impossible. Restaurant staff lovely and friendly and food excellent.

Original room was very small and with no view , Got a upgrade suite with a sea view, At a cost of £180.00!!! For 3 nights. We did inform the hotel that it was our wedding anniversary, we were still put in the small room, With the upgrade there were no bathrobe, no slippers, no fridge, no tissues, no extra pillows or bedding. Went to bar on first night for a drink at 9.30pm to discover it was shut. The only good thing was the view after the upgrade
