特倫特玫瑰及皇冠旅館的評價

Called into the Inn yesterday on our way home and popped in for a lunchtime drink. The young lady behind the bar was very helpful and knowledgeable about the ales on tap. Husband was most impressed with how the beer was kept and served. (He can be very picky about this matter). We also spoke to the chef, Mal, who showed examples of some of the menu choices. We had a good chat and it is obvious that this guy is very passionate about what he is doing, especially using local produce. We enjoyed the chat so much and the look of the food, that we went back again today for lunch. Hubby had the venison toad in the hole with sausage and faggot and glorious caramelised onion gravy. It’s a large portion but he savoured every bit. Scored a 10 out of 10. 👏I had the Korean hot pot with noodles. Delicious and so good on a miserable wet Friday. Thank you all at Rose and Crown. Can’t fault the service or the food! Will be back again soon.

What a lovely local pub. Visited with family for a drink on Saturday evening followed up with lunch on Sunday. Staff are super friendly. We all thoroughly enjoyed our roast Sunday lunch. Best pub food, would definitely recommend. Also has a lovely garden for summer visits

Great ambience, lovely piping hot mains food, beautifully & promptly presented. Waiting staff were smartly dressed & paid attention to detail. Portions were Huge , but not overbearing & were full of flavour. Menu limited, especially if vegan or vegetarian, but nevertheless good choices. Good range of drinks too. Prices reasonable. Will definitely be visiting again!

Looks like a great place but they are NOT consistent with their published hours. Apparently on Mondays and Tuesday the kitchen closes early “sometimes”. So basically don’t bother trying to get dinner on a Monday or Tuesday after about 6.50pm. If the landlord reads this - I don’t think it's a problem for you to make your hours according to the staff available and the demand. I think it’s a problem if you advertise hours then renege on them.

Visited with friends & we decided we would like to try the new menu from The Garden Room (Wed to Sat only). We all thoroughly enjoyed the Fine Dining experience and would highly recommend trying it. Portion size was generous and the flavours were unbelievable. Staff were attentive & friendly.

Monday lunch service. 10/ 10 Stunning food - all 3 courses were totally delicious. Generous portions too!! The service was very prompt, friendly, and attentive. Pretty setting. I cannot wait to visit in the summer and enjoy the garden in bloom.

We ate here last night the food quality was superb as was the service from the young lady with dark hair and glasses and the Barman with a beard. There service was very attentive and we really loved the twist on the prawn cocktail (defo be back for another one please leave it in the menu) Sadly it was very empty and no background music. If you live in Trent you need to support this fantastic pub as it would be a massive loss to the village..!!!!!
