洛格林酒店

Our 2nd stay here in this beautiful hotel. Found staff, in general, to be lovely & very helpful. One male member of staff in the bar area had a bit of a brusque manner, when we had to ask 3 times for a drink that hadn't come when the wine was served. Staff in Bisque restaurant were so lovely but please note the dinner menu as advertised on the site is not what is currently on offer & it wasn't as good as our previous stay in April. Husband & sister took the lamb dish & both said it didn't have much flavour & was a bit tough. Only one steak on offer at £50!!! Breakfast was really good with plenty of options available. Hotel was very quiet but agree with some other comments re weddings. On our last visit, there was a wedding on & it was very noisy & busy & our room was just down the corridor from the room wedding was on, so noise from the band was a bit annoying but it did stop at 12pm. Very busy the next morning g at breakfast & checkout.

From the warm welcome at reception and the even warmer welcome from Ivor, for whom nothing was too much trouble… checking spa availability, explaining what was happening in the hotel as well as carrying our bags! Room 39 was huge, with an amazing view from the large terrace over the sea. Food in the bisque restaurant was top quality and chef was happy to prepare an alternative starter for us. Sergio the wine waiter was generous in his advice and sharing a few samples from the hotel’s wine merchants! The grounds are immaculate and the Spa first rate. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel snd it’s friendly staff and quiet ambience. The hotel was not busy during this pre Christmas period, and our experience might have reflected that. Not everything was perfect, ( nespresso machine was broken, but all sorted quickly and professionally.

The hotel is amazing, we stayed overnight for my cousins Daughter's wedding on the 2nd of November 2024.The rooms are Beautiful and the bed so comfortable,was tempted to have a bath in the morning but didn't just had a shower,the Breakfast was amazing, the choice was fab but we chose the full Scottish Breakfast,Beautiful presentation the staff could not do enough for us,you wanted extra toast,butter and tea and coffee,it was there,not a problem.All stall so polite.

Attended the wedding of Cara and Sean Hainey’s at this amazing hotel. From start to finish it was a great experience. This was made possible by the amazing staff. Must mention Lauren, Carrie at Reception. Kari and Alex the super wedding coordinators. Melissa, Jack, Declan and Josh the wait persons. All are so special and they were so friendly and attentive during our visit. They are great ambassadors for the company. Big shout for the kitchen brigade for high standard of food.

It's the second year running we have attended for a wedding. It's unlikely we will go for a wedding again but we absolutely will visit just to enjoy the location, the fantastic customer experience, great staff and to just soak in that view and location. We've been limited on what we were able to do on these two trips but intend to revisit and take in all of the amenities of the hotel and take a little day trip to Arran. If you are looking for a nice romantic break, look no further than lochgreen.

Our stay at Lochgreen was very relaxing On arrival, we received a warm welcome and an easy check-in Staff were extremely helpful and very attentive We had some sandwiches and a coffee when we arrived, and I have to say the quality of the sandwich was beautiful Dinner did not disappoint either staff again were very helpful and attentive, the taste and quality of the food was very good as was the presentation Breakfast, again, could not fault it, and again, staff were excellent There was only one slight disappointment, and that was the bed, not the most comfortable one. I have slept in Overall we were delighted with the staff, and the beautiful grounds that the Hotel is set in I would be happy to recommend the Lochgreen to my family and friends
