We really had a amazing time. It was nice and quiet. Just want we needed from our busy life at home. Thank you for our host Shane for organising eggs, jam, honey and olives for us. I will really recommend this place for anyone who wants a break for their busy lifestyle.

What an amazing place! It's surrounded by stunning scenery and I loved the solitude - it was just what the doctor ordered to recharge from a hectic few months! The little cottage, Cabernet, was ideal and perfectly equipped. Shane had thought of everything and communicated throughout my stay. It was such a special couple of days - I would definitely recommend it!

We had such a spoil over Christmas staying at Fraaigelegen. We booked all three cottages for our family reunion and had the absolute best time. The cottages have absolutely everything you need in terms of self catering. The braai areas are big and entertain a large group easily. The dam is an absolute treat on a hot day to cool off and have some fun in the sun. We took our dogs with us and they had a blast too! If you’re looking for a beautiful location, with comfort and relaxation this is the place. Shane our host was so accommodating and helpful, always just a message away for any of our needs. An absolute gem of a getaway, can highly recommend for all, solo travelers, couples and families.

Splendid view on the valley and the mountains. We spent to nights with my parents. It is very quiet and we loved it. Shane and his mother are very helpful and gave us a warm welcome. The Olive cottage is enough big for 4 adults.

This was the right choice. We preferred a quit setting and yes we found it at Fraaigelegen Farm. Fine and clean accomodation, friendly hosts, always willing to assist us. It was a gravel road to reach the area, but this was not an obsticle, because the scenery we found was fantastic.

We loved our time at this country retreat. The cottages were cozy and set up against the mountains. Surrounded by olive groves and fields. We enjoyed watching the sun go downover the pond, while sipping an excellent local wine. Wild local peacocks added to the ambience! The owner was super helpful and he really made our stay extra special. Excellent olives too!

Perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Exceptionally well equipped cottage, tranquil environment, welcoming host, pet friendly. Easy walks on the farm and close to Tulbagh, Ceres and the wine farms in the area.

We had an amazing time here. Everything about this stay was perfect. Pet friendly (our border collie was in her element), the apartment was clean and well-equipped. They had extremely comfortable beds and our host a very friendly / helpful.

Beautiful cottages at the foot of the mountain with a lovely view of the dam. Host was very welcoming. Area is perfect for mid stop while travelling with eateries nearby. The cottage we stayed in was lovely and warm with wood to make a fire, etc. Really enjoyed our stay.
