基爾皮斯拉普蘭酒店(Lapland Hotels Kilpis)

A real wilderness hotel beside of Saana. Really good location. Shop is opposite of hotel. Beautiful view. Sauna was by the shore, sauna was so good and there you can go to swim. Breakfast was really good. Staff was really friendly and polite.

An overnight stay with work. Friendly service and our”apartment” was separate from the main building and was very adequate for our stay. A plus was a kitchenette, with kettle etc and microwave. We slept three and it was clean if a little dated. The main building however is in dire need of renovation. The ladies toilet situated near the lobby area had an incredibly bad smell - drains/ mould ? Very unpleasant, and decor was stuck in the 1980’s. The sauna by the lake was lovely and the swim was invigorating. Breakfast was standard Lapland hotels. Situation was great with walks in the near vicinity. To conclude this hotel, although being adequate for this work trip, needs massive renovations to bring it up to par, and after also staying in Lapland hotels Hetta this seems to be a common trait for this chain.

Amazing new and nice hotel in the wilderness with amazing view over the lake! High end hotel! Excellent food and personal service! We loved the place! Possible to sit outdoor on the terrace to eat in the summer! It was 30 Celsius when we visited the hotel in the start of July 2023

Terrible from outside, cozy from inside. Nice and helpful service, delicious food. Do not skip the sauna and lake bath. Suited for adventurous souls. The Building needs some renovation, new windows etc.. but still, if I visit Lapland again, this hotel will be on my list.

We got an accommodation in the so-called camping lodge and we paid 170 €/night for a small double room. The room was fully priced for the night! The building was in terrible condition and would require a complete renovation, and the interior was visibly untidy. The rooms and common areas smelled old and musty. In addition, a reindeer had apparently rotted in the forest next to the building, which caused a terrible smell in the building's surroundings and inside the rooms. The hotel reception said that they can't do anything about it because it belongs to the cooperative of reindeer herdsmen. The only plus was the sauna and nice swimming in the lake, the breakfast was also good. However, I would definitely not go again.

New and clean sauna with it's facilities. Amazing view direct to Saana-fell from sauna's terrace. The hostell itself has seen it's best days. And it really needs face-lift. Everything seems like 70's. But the very good breakfast, the hospitality of the personnel, reasonable price and the good sauna with a view compensates the almost dilapidated facilities.

The hotel is in poor condition. Has a mouldy smell in the rooms, and in the corridors. Definitely totally overpriced. Room had stains even on the ceiling, only way to get fresh air was to keep windows open (and let mosquitos in). No soundproofing what so ever. Leaking tap in the bathroom, peeling paint on the doors etc. We were not looking for luxury, just a regular clean and nice hotel but were totally disappointed.

We liked the reception and how they wellcome us. The room needs renovation ( more sockets f.ex.) but it was very clean, also bathroom was so clean. We slept very well😁 We could see reindeers from our windows☺️ The breakfast was excellant. Also there was chargepoint to e-car too, extra payment of course. The Tsahkaljärvi was also worth to see, it was about 1,5 km from the Hotel, the view from there were so good🤩

The hostel is basic and not at all fancy but its clean, functional and cheap - so very good value. Excellent buffet breakfast - with lots of variety - and very friendly - chilled staff. So for me - it gets 5*****!
