雅基馬萬楓套房酒店(Fairfield Inn & Suites Yakima)

Property under MAJOR renovation. Pictures do not clearly represent accommodations. All of this would be fine if the front desk representative wasn’t so rude!

Property under construction. Breakfast was grab and go. Wasn't mentioned during booking. Very noisy too.

The room was supposed to have a decent TV, microwave and refrigerator. When we got to the room the TV didn't work and there was no microwave. Maintenance came up and fixed the TV and said that guests connect games and then they have to reset the TV. If you know this happens why wouldn't you check it when you're servicing the room before the next guest. We never did get a microwave and then the fire alarm went off and locked out the elevators, We were told it was accidently tripped by some performing work in the building. Fairfield Inns are usually nice properties but I will never stay at this location again

Hotel was nice, we are a family of 4 and i thought the pull out bed would have been a bit bigger. It was more of a twin than a full size. Hotel was clean, close to food and in a relatively safe area. I would stay here again if they had 2 queen beds.

Everything felt very clean. Bed was comfy. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful and was generous with complimentary bottled water. There's free coffee in the lobby at all times, which I very much appreciate. The free breakfast was... well, let's just say you get what you pay for. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

The AC in guest rooms won't work unless there's active motion in the room making for a nightmarishly hot room during the night where I got zero sleep. I called the front desk during the night asking if there was a way to make the air stay on and they apologized saying no it's motion activated. I asked how it's possible to have motion in the room when people are trying to sleep and they just apologized again stating they get that complaint often. The room windows only open about an inch, which didn't help bring down the temps, but did let in bright light and interstate noise. Completely ruined night of sleep which in turn ruined my next day. A total nightmare and I would never stay here again unless the thermostats were replaced.

The place was unique in that it was apartment style design. The dislike is that it’s deceiving that it looks like a regular style building and when we arrived It was an apartment style that needed upgrading.

The staff were very friendly. The room was nice and spacious. Shopping, dining and recreation options all within walking distance. Easy, free, self parking felt safe. The only negatives would be that the pool was closed and there was a slight odor in the room.

We were disappointed to find out that the pool was out of order and would not be open while we were there. The elevator could stand to be vacuumed daily. The garbage at the coffee station was full to the brim at 7:00am but the lady working didn't bother emptying it when she brought a new pitcher of ice water. The hot water for tea was on the warm side rather than hot so had to use the microwave in our room to heat it up. Other than that, our stay was fine. The shower was quite modern as well as the decor throughout. We stayed there a year ago and would stay there again.
