Amber Kiwi Holiday Park Christchurch Christchurch Very good as a starting and finishing place, but also for visiting Christchurch 883134963 AmberPark is a nice, clean well arranged park. We were there a good 2 weeks before, on our arrival day in New Zealand. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. So we could exceed the check-out time on the day of departure by arrangement. Especially good is the location directly at a bus stop that leads to the city center. The staff at the reception are also helpful. As a starting point or also for the conclusion, this was very helpful for us.

The staff and resident cat are all friendly and welcoming. The helpful staff do their best to give us their longest site for our large caravan. We stay at Amber Park quite often as it makes a very convenient base for visiting family nearby. Great sites, which have a sealed vehicle pad plus grass. There's a nice garden, with playground equipment. Bathroom facilities are clean and tidy, and the shower cubicles have plenty of hooks for your clothing.

Great small campsite near Christchurch City centre. Staff were helpful and provided a map and instructions on best way to get there on our push bikes. Site was quiet and has everything needed. Good place to park up a campervan before returning it as the pitches were spacious and had picnic tables for getting bags sorted out.

This place is a little gem if you’re starting or finishing an RV trip of the South Island NZ. Yes it’s old, but it’s not tired. The park managers are friendly and helpful. Everything works and the facilities are squeaky clean. There’s even vehicle wash facilities near the dump site. Highly recommended.

This was one of the best campsites we have stayed in. Superclean facilities, beautiful laid out spaces and gardens and very helpful and friendly staff. The proximity to the christchurch arena was perfect for anyone going to an even there. We walked home near midnight after our event, just half hour walk.

This is a lovely place to stay, with very friendly and acommodating owners. It is in a great location, on the main highway out of town, close to mall, Warehouse and streets into the CDB area. We usually stay in the motel units at back of site where it is very quiet. Motels near the road get a bit of road noise. A good place to park up your caravan or campervan or book into a motel.

Smallish site, well maintained with flowers, arbours etc. laundry( cheapest we used ) with dryers and washing lines that had pegs ( only site we used that had pegs available!) Excellent shower/loo blocks ,spotlessly clean. Great kitchen facilities with boxes of food/ cleaning items that were left by other campers to take. Probably as after staying there people were returning vans. So a great first stay of your trip! Kids play area. Bus stop outside to get into town. Use of free dvds if wanted. Friendly staff. On a busy road,but we didn’t really hear or see it .

Very helpful hosts to get us started on our campervan trip. Hot water dispenser made it easy for quick top up before we set off. No timer for the hot water shower too. Kitchen is small but sufficient for simple cooking and washing.
