Very poor! Not enough for a hotel's basic requirements! Because opening of UIUC, many hotel room has been sold out. we booked this hotel at the highway entrance. the front desk Indian man said that room was no longer available and induced me to upgrade my room for $40 a night, but I refused.( I think he said so, but later the Indian didn't admit it ).Then I contacted Ctrip to refund, Ctrip contact the hotel, and said that the hotel refused to refund the money, saying it could guarantee I can stay in the room I booked. When I returned to the hotel again, the Indian front desk gave me a room with a large and half wet black stain on the bed, and the sheets were all wrinkled, It was very disgusting!Negotiate with the Indian at the front desk again, he said that the room I booked is a smoking room, that's it. I have been booked a smoking room from another hotel before, is basically the same as a non smoking room. The difference is just that the room whether smoking is allowed! I throw the room card to the Indian front desk to check out immediately, even not stay over a minutes !

Tub didn’t drain. Water was 1/2 way up my leg bybthe end of the shower. Ceiling in bathroom was stained and cracked. Room smelled like mildew. Fitted sheet had no elastic left and would not stay on.

Nearly all the rooms in town were sold out and I landed on one of the only remaining rooms here at the super eight. While the property is nothing exciting and it’s pretty dated, the staff was very friendly and the room was clean and the beds were super comfortable. There was a microwave and mini fridge in the room and the air conditioner worked. Can’t complain about that. It’s all we needed in our stay.

The toilet didn't flush when I arrived. I told the front desk/manager who thought he fixed it. He did not. We had to adjust the black tubing in the tank about every other time we used it. The door to the room sticks and is extremely loud when it opens - not sure how to fix that. On the plus side, we liked the easy parking, comfortable beds and having a refrigerator and microwave in the room.

Booked online, got to hotel and was told it would be $100 deposit and that the already paid for room would need to come from a credit card not the debit card already charged. Property canceled room and refused further service.

For just an overnight on the road, C-U Super 8 is well run and the rooms a bit more roomy and attractive than similar budget hotels in town. (I've stayed at Motel 6 and Red Roof Inn here, too). An actual rug on the floor and room to move around in your room! Breakfast is more than just a cup of coffee. Good value for the price. The only annoyance was the typical inadequate motel curtain that blows up Marilyn Monroe-style from the AC underneath and the little gap between panels that lets in sunlight. (They could get ONE panel that closes all the way across!) Nothing fancy to look at out of the window, but for a night's sleep and breakfast, a good deal!
