So this is a personal experience which I had to write about. Just so you know I had already booked and paid online for my stay based on the pictures so couldn't change or move to another hotel. The hotel interiors are good, I will you that but if you are staying at a hotel which boasts of itself as a 4 star, the first thing you would expect is good service. This was far from it. The staff here is either underpaid or plain old rude especially the front desk. If it was just me, I. would have probably assumed they were having a bad day but the behaviour was pretty much consistent with almost all the guests from what I noticed. I will give you a day wise break up of my issues here Day 1: We reached around noon and not wanting to waste a day completely, we decided to quickly freshen up and venture out. While leaving my wife noticed the bed sheet under the duvet was completely stained however we thought we will ask them to change once we come back since we were already getting late when we got back and my wife made the request to have it changed, the guy at the reception gave her a cold stare as if she had asked him to bring the moon and asked her very rudely ' what is the issue with it? ' Needless to say I did not like his tone and had to step in because I knew my wife was not going to argue. When I said ' It's completely stained and that's the issue' in a tone which matched his he seemed to back off. Day 2: The hot water ran out. The hotel ***agement did not bother to inform the guests, at least we weren't. I was in the bathroom a good 10 minutes standing and waiting in the shower when I had to. come out and call the helpdesk when I was told there was work being done. Day 3: This one takes the cake. I ordered a bowl and a spoon to which I was told that I would be charged for it. MIND YOU FOR ASKING FOR CUTLERY. I have been to 3 continents and stayed in some of the best and expensive and some. of the cheapest hotels of the world but never ever have I heard or been made to pay for ordering plates and bowls. The server who bought it said its ***agement rule. I have gone through their official website and did not find such a rule. This was also. conveyed by our front desk guy from Day 1. By the way his tone was still very condescending to say the least. Finally steer clear. Just because you get a few bucks off do not and DO NOT compromise on the quality of your stay by coming here.
