The location is good and the hotel is just fine. Need some renovation around the path leading to beach. ***y opt for this location for ease of access to beaches, if that is not maintained it will lead to disappoin**ent. The SPA is not per the expectation and the maintenance of the spa is very bad. Food is above average. The buffet breakfast is fine but lacks variety for those staying longer. Overall it was a good experience. The attender at the pool Mr. Babu is very good, he should be awarded for his fine service. Overall the hotel staff are polite and well ***nered and hear to our concerns.

Excellent Hotel with excellent services. The ***agers and staffs kept us very comfortable and most importantly accommodated to our toddlers meals during the stay. Very beautiful view as very peaceful hotel!

Excellent séjour à l’hôtel Gateway. Nous avons été très bien bien accueillis par le General ***ager Dharmesh Cariappa, tout le monde a été au petits soins avec nous, surtout Sudeep qui nous a aidé à organiser de magnifiques visites de la région. L’hôtel est très bien situé avec un accès direct à la plage. Très jolie chambre avec vue sur la mer. Un havre de paix en pleine végétation.

1. Stay was pleasant and staff were courteous Liked that high tea theme in the evening saayangaalam sabhaashanam 2. Hotel was built in the form of a bird wing which is dedicated to jataayu where there is jataayu earth center ( 27 kms) from hotel

Old fashioned yet well maintained building with nice sea view rooms and lawns. We checked in at 10:30 PM and checked out at 1 PM the next day. Check in was smooth . The welcome drink tasted neutral. Stay was at the Queen suite though a Deluxe room would serve the purpose if one does not intend to use the living room. The Hotel is a 10 minute walk from the beach and we enjoyed our walk and return to the Hotel. The Breakfast buffet was not lavish but one can have a filling breakfast and the staff will cook what is not in the table for you. My little one tried the pool and the kids park and enjoyed both . Owing to time constraints we could not check the SPA or adventure activities. The GM - Mr.Dharmesh was at the door both to welcome us and see us off. Very courteous of him. Definitely the recommended place to stay with family at Varkala.

Overall experience was good. Staffs were friendly and helpful all the times, especially Mr. Reji helped at the time of leaving and familiarize all the functions in the property. Child friendly property and 100% I will recommend. Pool, restaurant Excellent

This property is peaceful and well maintained. The restaurant serves a limited menu with homely food. The breakfast has a buffet but the rest are a-la-carte. In room dining and the restaurant close at 10:30 pm. The spa is amazing and offers great trea**ent for the money. It’s a safe and peaceful place to spend a quiet vacation

Really good stay. Very good service. Rooms are big and clean. Nearer to north cliff (4 minutes drive). Get good sea view from reception. You can walk down to Papanashini beach. Evening snacks was a good touch. Overall really recommend this hotel.

The experience was great. The staffs Mr. Reji and Mr. Sudeep( Security head) were very helpful in all aspects. Guided us to good places nearby. The food and services were excellent and always wants to come back to this property. The pool staff and the experience from the other guests also was great.
