圍籬區酒店(Domaine de l'Enclos)

Nous sommes tombés sous le charme de ce magnifique domaine clos et arboré. Décoré avec soin, magnifique billard et piano. Un grand merci à Jean-Luc propriétaire des lieux pour sa gentillesse et sa simplicité envers ses clients. Un autre grand merci à Yannick et Carole pour leur bienveillance et leur gentillesse. Le petit déjeuner était excellent ! Le ménage fait tous les jours avec soins. Le plus, les chiens sont acceptés.

My wife and I had a wonderful week in the tower ("Tour") suite with a spectacular view of the Luberon Valley and the town of Gordes from the private terrace. The property is located in a very quiet area, making it feel like you're in the countryside, yet only a scenic 10-minute walk into Gordes center. The building has been artfully restored in a country manor style with loads of charm and ambience. Grounds are beautifully landscaped and well kept; the large pool was great after a day of visiting small hill towns. The living room was beautifully and artfully decorated, very cozy; the indoor eating area and kitchen were sparkling clean with a brand new kitchen. You could cook your own dinner here, and also store your wine in the fridge. Our room was spatious and comfortable; especially 2 separated sinks in the bathroom; beds were comfortable. The room itself was modern and a bit plain in decor, but fine. The staff was super warm and friendly, and all spoke fluent English. They went out of their way to help us with daily itineraries, and they made our dinner reservations for us, even a month before we arrived. The owner Jean-Luc was so kind to us; he has traveled in the US so we had some nice chats about our respective cultures and countries as well as what it's like to live in Gordes. He even helped me get medical care when I accidently had a fall. We had many fun and interesting conversations with all the staff. Breakfasts were good (although a bit lacking in offerings): fresh croissants, jams, fresh fruits, juices and cereals. We enjoyed eating at a lawn table overlooking the Luberon; the lawn area is surrounded with beautiful flowering shrubs, flowers, and lavender. I even got a hands-on lesson in how to properly cook scrambled eggs which were so much more tasty than the agribusiness eggs we get in U.S. supermarkets. If you want a no-issues place with a fabulous view, top notch service, peace and quiet, and one that you can count on everything being just right, this is "le place perfect". What made this special stay was the knowledge, helpfulness and friendliness of Jean-Luc and Cathy. So very helpful and the tips and tricks they passed on were valuable, especially the tip to eat at Trinquette in town. Yummy. The accomodation, pool and grounds were as seen on the pictures, though the house was even better in person. The walk to town was easy and ~7 mins. Superb stay and highly recommend if you want Gordes and a little bit of down time all wrapped up.

Un endroit idéal pour séjourner dans le Lubéron, à 5mn à pieds du magnifique village de Gordes, et avec un magnifique panorama sur la campagne alentour (et, la nuit, le ciel étoilé) L'équipe est aux petits soins, les chambres belles et confortables, super produits locaux au petit déjeuner. Le domaine est très élégant et reposant avec ses oliviers, etc. J'y étais pour affaires aussi je n'ai pas pu beaucoup profiter des environs mais des chemins de randonnée sont directement accessibles depuis le domaine. J'y retournerai, et je recommande.

Excellent séjour dans cet endroit magnifique. Au début j'ai été surprise qu'il n'y ai pas de télé... Et puis j'ai apprécié !!! Chambre spacieuse (Borie) qui donne sur une très grande terrasse arborée et non séparée par des murets. Le domaine est très grand et nos toutous étaient heureux de gambader. Cela participe à notre bien-être. Magnifique piscine entourée de pelouse et oliviers, belle salle de jeux, un piano, un jeu de boules éclairé la nuit, localisation idéale. Différents endroits où l'on peut déjeuner ou bien se reposer et chacun possède sa propre atmosphère. L'ambiance du domaine avec son grand salon donnant sur sa terrasse avec pelouse et vue sur la vallée nous fait sentir comme chez nous. Très bon séjour. Merci à Jean-Luc pour sa gentillesse.

We stayed for five nights and wished it could have been longer. Lovely property, great setting and location and Jean-Luc, Cathy and Yannick were so friendly and helpful. Jean-Luc advised on restaurants for four of the five evenings and we enjoyed each one. Our single attempt at choosing one, although not a disaster, left a huge amount to be desired. Breakfast was great - perhaps the addition of a little fresh fruit would have been nice - and the facilities were fine, great pool and gardens with stuff inside the house to keep one entertained. We liked very much that there are no TV's not because we dislike them but they seemed so unnecessary. This is a great place to stay and should we ever venture to these parts again we will most certainly consider staying here again. An lovely relaxing place close to Gordes. We absolutely loved it. Peaceful, quiet and yet close to Gordes and the the famous Abbaye. The accommodation was perfect - our bedroom with the terrace was superb. Everywhere was clean and inviting. A good swimming pool with sun loungers was just below the sun terrace. Jean-Luc and Cathy were friendly and the service was first class. One of the best places we have stayed and yes we would absolutely come back!

Nous avions découvert ce magnifique endroit en 2020 et nous avions hâte d'y retourner. Nous n'avons pas été déçus, bien au contraire ! Le lieu est toujours aussi exceptionnel, à deux pas du centre du village et totalement au calme. Et la vue !!! Nous étions cette fois-ci dans la chambre en duplex qui surplombe toute la région, incroyable pour prendre l'apéro au coucher du soleil. Jean-Luc le propriétaire est toujours aussi sympathique et connait la région comme sa poche. Yannick et Kathy qui font le petit déjeuner sont adorables, et Carole la gouvernante est d'un professionnalisme bluffant pour un établissement de cette taille. Depuis notre première visite la déco s'est encore améliorée et le bar en self-service s'est rempli de produits locaux (la bière du Luberon est à tomber !!!). C'est sûr, nous n'attendrons pas 2 ans avant de revenir !!!

Beautiful setting over looking the valley. Terrific location, since ten minute walk to Gordes and clean. At best the equivalent of a Low end Best Western in the United States. Various issues but so it goes. Disappointing but these things happen
